Offline Music Player BTR AMP

I'm always using app for music. But developers need add buttons “disable” and “able” press on Cover When playing for “Pause” or “play”. Thanks!

This is a great app for people who value high resolution audio to hear music with the best possible sound quality. I would like to know if the developer might be able to add support for Amazon Music and Bandcamp. Hope there’s a way to do that. People like me who’ve been online for decades have purchased music on various platforms. Who be helpful to streamline it all in a single app. Thanks so much!

For 10 years my go to player has been Denon Audio. But I'm always interested in what may come along to be better for my needs. Sadly this App is not it. The interface is clutzy. While it has many adjustable features, I don't find that sufficient reason to change.

I love the concept of offline music playing from my iPod and this app makes that possible on my smartphone. I’m looking forward to being able to import music from “iPhone Files”; because BTR AMP currently doesn’t find the offline audio files I have already on my phone. It seems to me that it can only cater to Apple itunez as a source for sound bits and music audio. So please update the app to do a better scan/find.

Download with the hope of listening to music in flight. I can’t get it to play. Despite restarting, and quitting Apple music. Disappointing.

By far the best player I have found. But the best part is the excellent support. Prompt and helpful. The app is kept updated frequently. Very highly recommended.

I tried nearly every offline music player for the iPhone and this is by far the best - not even close.

This is an amazing app. There is nothing else like it on the App store. Sure, there are apps that present music from iTunes, from network sources, and from proprietary sources (e.g., Plex), but if you have a well curated music collection not stored in iTunes (Music app) and you want to bring your entire collection with you on the road, BTR Amp is fantastic. For JRiver users, use a "handheld folder" to export your library, then copy it into BTR Amp. Here's the killer feature: Smart Playlists! Yes, you can create smart playlists in BTR Amp! Of course you can create manual ones too, but this is the only app I've seen that reads the tags (including Rating tag) and lets the user create smart playlists. This is the App that has replaced Music (iTunes) for me on my iPhone and iPad. As I use the app more and more, I'm amazed by the level of items I can customize that I will actually use! 5 stars and the app is getting better monthly.

Updated from 3 stars after some help from support. This app is perfect for my use case. It supports FLAC and MP3 (and probably others, but that’s all I have in my library), the CarPlay and Siri integration both work, the app is highly customizable, and the support team is extremely responsive and helpful. Note that this app cannot be used without a $1/month or $10/year subscription fee, or a $30 one-off purchase, but it’s well worth the price of admission for a local music player with full integration with the rest of iOS. It took a bit for me to figure out some of the quirks of the app and how it handles the library, but a couple emails to support got me sorted out. There are some features like bulk editing coming down the development pipeline that will make things a lot nicer, but even as-is it’s excellent.
