Description

Budget Burndown is a simple personal finance app for tracking your monthly burn rate. Visually track your expected vs. actual spending rate across multiple cards on a single chart. If you keep the lines matched up, you're staying on budget. It's a quick and intuitive way to track your spending without all of the bloat that makes other budgeting apps so frustrating to use.

Budget Burndown is part of the Finance Kit suite of personal finance apps, which also includes Transactions.

• A VISUAL SPENDING TRACKER
Automatically track your spending against your monthly budget across multiple accounts. Add transactions manually when linking cards is not supported in the region.

• HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
At-a-glance visibility into your burn rate without even opening the app.

• SAVE TRANSACTIONS
Quickly save transactions when you want to remember to split a bill or expense a purchase later.

• CUSTOM NOTIFICATIONS
Create custom push notification triggers. Set alerts for when a transaction is above a certain amount or contains specified text.

• SECURE AND PRIVATE
Your information is completely safe. You'll use Plaid to link your cards. Your credentials are end-to-end encrypted and completely inaccessible to the app.

On the last day of each period, we'll renew your subscription for your Apple ID unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel by going to your account settings on the App Store.

Practical, does the job to an extent

LWi.l on

Helpful tool, would be improved if you could set the month start date as the day paid rather than default to calendar month. Hopefully this will be in a future update.

Poor

magik1991 on

Happy with the concept, but: Cannot set the start point for the month, and we get paid in the 28th so run 28th to 28th. Also cannot change the budget depending on weeks on that month, some have 4 others have 5, it would make sense to support this as well. Alongside that, it doesn’t support changing budgets brilliantly, let us put an amount for each month in. And finally a feature request, let us setup burn-downs for different aspects of our budget, for example one for fuel spend, one for general and one for food?

US only 🤦‍♂️😫

Rossy Boy on

US only yet available to download in the UK. Poor. Hope UK supported soon. Manually adding transactions isn’t something I’m going to do!

US only?

Roberohn on

This app is available to download in the UK, however it doesn’t appear that UK banks are supported yet. Could that likely change in the future? Otherwise what I could see on this app looked nice and clean.
