Charging Animation & Effects Reviews

Very functional, very good

iPL-2009 on

United Kingdom

In my experience, this is amongst the very best editors on iOS, and the most functional - at least for my usage anyway. Very pleased with it. I genuinely am puzzled why the overall rating on the App Store is not 4.5 or over. It would be truly deserved IMHO!!

GitHub Functionality Is Broken

BenjaminSherwood on

United Kingdom

It has the Email Address field twice, however your fill it in it says that your username is wrong. Since git functionality is basically required for me to do my job on a daily basis, this is entirely useless to me. Requesting refund.

Won’t connect to ftp if the username is an email address

diskgrinder on

Doesn’t work for cPanel then.

what i needed. but its crashing a lot

Usman tariq on

crashes a lot. specially after undo a lot of text. please fix the bugs so we don’t request for refund. this is the perfect app what i was looking for. nothing in market compare to this… thanks

Text Editors are like marmite

tim.hatch on

United Kingdom

I downloaded this app a couple of years ago as it supported split views quite early. I’ve found myself using Buffer as my default editor. The Vim bindings are a godsend allowing me to use most of my Vim muscle memory when working. If you’re comfortable with Vim and modal editors you’ll probably like Buffer. The only real improvement I’d look for would be better inter-app communication with Working Copy

Expected more for the price

HughZurname on

The editor itself is fine, but the git integration is kind of mediocre. As other reviews have mentioned using SSH would be prefereable.

Very good editor

DotTeapot on

United Kingdom

This is the best text editor app I have found. The keyboard is especially good. My only improvement would be Google verification.

I like it.

Mcmuffy on

United Kingdom

I quite like this editor as I spend a lot of time ssh’d into various servers and being able to stay in just the one app is great. My only gripe is that without renaming you can only open files with supported extensions. I would ideally like to open any file and then specify the formatting. If this exists then I is dumb and sorry. I will add the extra star though. EDIT : My bad. It seems that if you create a file with the desired extension you can open files of this type ever after. Star added.

Poor security features

steveprocter on

United Kingdom

I have only used this for 10 minutes, but it seems to offer a reasonable interface and remote text editor - which is surprisingly hard to find. However there is no fingerprint security option to open the app. For something that gives access to remote servers this is extremely poor and i will not continue to use the app until this feature is added. If it was a free app then this might be acceptable. But to charge and not have security is very annoying.

Not worth for the vim keybindings

tmcrodrigues on

United Kingdom

I found this app because of the vim keybindings but honestly at this point I don’t think it’s worth getting just for that. Setting up connections to repositories isn’t exactly simple, with the multiple possibilities (ssh keys, 2fa) all done in the same UI with confusing explanations. I had trouble with this, contacted support with a detailed explanation of what I did and screenshots, and received some videos and returned that showed exactly what I had done. In the end I fixed the issue by force quitting the app because apparently if you fail setting up your connection the first time, it just keeps failing even if you delete it and try again. The remaining UX of the app is fairly confusing, and you can’t access the user guide outside of it, having to go backwards and forwards when setting connections up. I wanted to like this, but at the moment I can’t recommend it.
