I genuinely dont think its identified a single bug right! you have to hold the camera at the bug for like an entire 5 minutes for it to give you a bunch of wrong guesses

Looked like a tool to identify a bug quickly while in the woods, and before it would do a thing it was asking for money. Pass.

Impossible to cancel

Do not download this app. It will make it impossible to cancel your subscription if you sign up for their trial. You have to sign up to use the app. The identification is wrong all the time.

Big spider.

Found a big spider and was able to identify it

Hard to use

I purchased a subscription for a year but will not be renewing it because I find this app to be difficult to use. I can take 3 different pictures of the same bug and get 3 different results. I often get bumped out of this app as well. There's no way to enter a description of the bug, a picture must be taken.

I just moved into a new place and found a couple of suspicious bugs in the kitchen that I used the app to identify. It came back they they were COCKROACHES and I even emailed the support email hoping they would tell me the app was wrong, but they did not :( 5 stars for the app, 0 stars for my new apartment 😭 Also I noticed reviews about the free trial being a scam or not being able to identify without paying and I truly believe this is due to user error. Anytime I sign up for an app’s free trial I immediately go into my Apple ID to cancel it, which still allows me access through the end of the free trial date, and never have any issues with being charged. If you don’t cancel it then you will of course be charged..? And I was able to use the identifier using the free trial which did not require payment, but I only needed it once so I can’t speak to long term use for free.
