I thought this was some fake spyware but even if it is idc the game is dang good and I barely understand what’s going on like other people say (it’s actually not too hard to understand once you learn to navigate and how the game actually works)

So I’ve been playing Buriedbornes since the first game came out a while ago, it’s one of those games that you can just hop onto and play a few dungeons, or play for hours. I was pretty addicted to the first one then I saw that the second came out, and I was certainly not disappointed. The second Buriedbornes adds more to the game with the faction system and ways to earn the races and classes. The move sets and runes bring new excitement to the playability of each class, as well as replay-ability to each run. The ui is clean and to the point, and the ability to check what each effect does with the blue highlight for different traits is super helpful. I’ve been sinking hours into this game and plan to keep sinking hours until they hopefully come out with a third.

As a big fan of the original, I’ve been anticipating this release for quite a while now. I had my own doubts and worries that it would somehow be mishandled. I couldn’t see how the first game could be made any better than it already is. Nussy, the developer, has a very realistic and informed understanding of his fan base and with that is able to deliver what he knows will be a hit with those who play his games. He also has his own unique, clear vision that really shines in this particular release. He knew what made Buriedbornes great, and worked with that instead of against it. The new systems are implemented beautifully and everything flows together seamlessly. There are some aspects that aren’t exactly intuitive, but I think that comes with the territory at this point. Tinker around enough and you’ll understand everything clearly. This entry in the series allows for more on-the-fly experimentation with builds due to the new skill tree system which is unique to each individual corpse for that run alone. This helps to mend the issue of those unfortunate runs of terrible luck since you can now lean into whatever you’re stuck with. I very rarely write reviews. I just had to for this game. Nussy did such an incredible job and we’re blessed to be able to play this gem. And knowing how he is, he will definitely be adding loads of content very frequently. TLDR: play this, don’t be dumb.

I loved the first Buriedbornes. This one does take a very large diversion from the first one but in ways that I believe improve the game significantly. The progression and advancement system is nice as it has no real pay to win mechanics. This makes the game very satisfying when you finally beat a dungeon that you’ve been trying to beat forever. Downsides to the game are that some of the mechanics are confusing or unclear how they work. But other than that, the amount of customization you can put into your characters makes it to where you can find something that you’ll enjoy playing. Cant wait to see what’s in the future updates for season events and such.

Not pay to win, beautiful art, awesome challenges and. Plenty of customization

As a work in progress I quite enjoy this game. In most ways it surpasses the original. It has better playability and the dungeons aren’t as tedious. I like the new lab part system. I would like to see the synergy of skills and runes and abilities that made some of the wild builds of the first Buriedbornes possible. The runes especially seem somewhat lackluster, focusing as they do on automatic use which is seldom useful and skill modifications which add to, but don’t really modify the skills. I think that there is a lot of potential in this game and with work and balancing it could be great.

One of the best, if not THE best rogue-like dungeon delver games I’ve ever played! I’m hooked! I love the race/class/origin system and how you can just try out so many different combinations of them to alter how your runs will go. If you’re a fan of the genre, you should give this game a try! There’s a bit of a learning curve, but you’ll soon realize that each ability functions just as it says it does. Not only this, but there’s an extensive in-game information catalogue that you can use to look anything up
