BVG Fahrinfo is the official Berlin city transport map and ticket purchasing app, use it as your personal journey planner and buy tickets for all transport in and around the city.

Doesn’t save route
Every time you open the app you have to search again for your journey. Not helpful when you’re underway.
Unübersichtlich
Neue Version ist nicht besonders simpel und übersichtlich. Klare Verschlimmbesserung.
Still Best When You Already Know the City...
...but very good. Could be improved with maps of the journey too a la Transport for London - however, if you do that, do a better job than TfL did of integrating maps and description. Having English is great - but no English in the warning messages for journeys!

Used it to get about in Berlin for a week and it was perfect. Brilliant app!
Wordy and complicated
You can e.ventually find what you need but it’s full of details.. Needs a pragmatic person to cull and refine the user interface . Learn from the Swiss sbb app.
Good, and where did the watch app go?
Good app for tickets now, and ok for route planning. Shame that the Apple Watch app has been removed. I used to use it routinely for nearby departures. So one star down for that.
Excellent and accurate app
This app was fantastic and accurate for helping us plan our routes around Berlin on the U, S and bus routes for €9 !!!
Great app for trips to Berlin!
Easy to use and navigate. Essential for anyone who isn’t used to the area. Gives accurate times including delays for all modes of public transport as well as cost and purchase options.
Tickets don’t Update correctly
It happened many times now that the remaining 4 trip tickets are not updated correctly which means you have to open and close the app and update the tickets about 10-15 times before they show correctly and then miss at least 2 u bahns until then. Super annoying.
