Call Protect is a free spam and robo call blocker with automatic Caller ID tool that safeguards you against known telemarketers, robo-callers, scammers, surveys, spammers, and other unwanted callers. With Call Protect, you can have a peace of mind whilst it silently works for you to reduce the number of unsolicited phone calls you receive.
Call Protect maintains the latest database of active spam and robo callers. This list is monitored and updated in real-time. When you activate the Call Protect extension, the list of suspicious phone numbers is periodically updated onto your device. The highly-risky phone numbers that have been identified as harmful with our sophisticated algorithms are automatically blocked; while the other numbers, which may potentially be harmful, but have not been identified as such with full confidence yet, are added onto your phone with their caller ID information containing a warning message. This will alert you when you receive a phone call from such suspicious callers. These features work alongside each other to protect you against ever-evolving spammers.
Beside Call Blocking and automatic Caller ID, this app also has a Caller ID lookup feature. You may use this feature to perform a reverse phone number lookup for free on any phone number from the US and Canada. This lookup service helps you get more information about the number that is calling you. After looking up a number, you have options to call, message, or block that number. You can also add it to your phone’s contacts list directly from within the app.

Waste of money
Good job i cancelled before any money was taken. Took out subscription after i followed the instructions on blocking block numbers next day had a silenced call from the numbers i had blocked.
A scam for victims of scams
I have been receiving none stop calls and texts from some scammers. They have told me they won’t stop and I have tried to block groups of numbers but it didn’t do anything. No change, the harassment has intensified and now I am questioning if this is getting worse because I dared to try to use an app to make it stop. I’m really distressed by the amount of hounding and it’s not ok to prey on vulnerable people with apps that don’t even try to work.
It works!
This app has a feature that I wish was default on my iPhone - blocking a specific number range. I get a ton of junk calls from many similar numbers, several times a day, on weekdays. Ever since I have input the number ranges into this app, the calls have stopped. This has lasted for 3 days so far. I’m keeping everything crossed that this continues, as I’m really enjoying the peace and quiet :-)
Total rubbish
I had more spam once I downloaded this app than I ever had before. It also didn’t block any spam callers!!!
Waste of time
Doesn’t work. I blocked a range of numbers but I still get calls from those numbers. Total number waste of time and space.
Very effective
I was receiving 0834 numbers every day they would ring for a few seconds and the cut off. Now with this app I get none.
Don’t bother downloading if UK based
Not much use if you’re based in the UK as you can only reverse look up phone numbers for the US or Canada!
