HOW CALORY WORKS
Based on your weight, height and activity level, Calory will calculate a suggested daily calorie goal for you. The daily goal will also factor in if you want to maintain, lose or gain weight.
After you know your daily energy requirements, your challenge is to eat the right number of calories. Calory, meanwhile, will remind you throughout the day to record your calorie intake. Even better, there is no registration or sign up required! All the information you enter into Calory is stored on your iCloud, protecting your privacy.

How much does Calory cost?
Calory has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is USD 24.74.
One thing to note is that I don’t have it connected to any workout app so any issues that may come with that is not reflected here.
I haven’t used many other trackers because I haven’t needed to. It’s basic but good for what a normal person needs. I haven’t found any hard roadblock that needs the subscription to go around which is great. The barcode scanner is really finicky so I just manually put in the calories. I use the weight tracker and fasting meter more often than the calorie counter itself but that’s a personal thing. The color customization is a nice touch.
Suggested Update
Great, has actually helped my relationship with food a lot! I feel better informed about what I’m eating, which has actually led to more food freedom.
My only gripe though is that in the macro tracking section, there is no differentiation between added sugars and naturally occurring sugars. Please add this into the next update!!! For those of us who are trying to watch our added sugar consumption, it’s incredibly frustrating that a bowl of blueberries will tip off the daily sugar limit completely.
Worth it
This app has kept me on track to losing a lot of weight. It’s definitely worth the one-time price, which I prefer over paying a subscription on the myfitnesspal app. I really love the interface and customization of this app. It’s simplistic, minimalistic, and relatively easy to navigate. Thankfully, most foods are already in their library, which saves a lot of time from putting everything in manually, but some rare times some foods don’t show up. On the home page, I love the idea of beads filling up a circle as you add foods; I’m always motivated to keep that circle from overflowing. Overall I really recommend everyone try this. Myfitnesspal, while it does probably have the largest library of foods to log, it has become cluttered over the years, and I don’t like paying monthly subscriptions to unlock features. If I have to pay, then I’d rather pay a reasonable one-time price to use the full app. So I went looking for alternatives and found this gem.

previously you could subscribe for 2.99 a month. Now the ONLY option is 39.99/year. that’s a massive jump in the minimum amount of money required just to track calories.
Best app for focusing on calorie counting
Developers listen to user feedback to improve the app, which is always much appreciated.
I’ve tried many food tracking apps, and none of the other apps make it this easy to track your calories day to day. The widgets, Apple Watch activity tracking, and watch complications are also super helpful to me, and I use them all the time.
I avoid subcription-only apps like the plague, and I usually delete them after a short while, but this app has a lifetime option, which is always much more compelling to me (so that’s what I have purchased)
I love a lot of things about this app, but...
One thing I really like about calorie tracking in MyFitnessPal is it will deduct any of my workouts from my calorie intake. Is it possible to add an option for this in a future update? I’d also like to see an option to remove that giant Item Logged box that comes up every time. I have the same thing for breakfast every morning and add each item individually, would be nice to not have to wait for that each time.
just doesn’t work
I got it today and went to log what i ate, when I clicked something it exited the app and went to homescreen. So i tried putting in my weight, same thing. After a bit of trys and fails I loged and orange. Then I went to see the circle with what you’ve eaten and the orange didn’t show. The circle still said “Hello? log your food!” Also everytime I searched a food it showes me the add for premium, extremely annoying. Could i get some help or an explanation?
Data Keeps Going Missing
So I like the features of the app but I noticed that the meals I logged in previous days keep going missing?? Like the last three days are blank even tho I went through the trouble of adding a lot of details. I have the app on both my iphone and my ipad. I have icloud sync on and yes, I have enough storage space. Obv I’m logging the calories on my iphone but when I open the app on my ipad, I notice the logs are not there. Then I check on my iphone and its gone there too suddenly. Did my ipad overwrite my iphone logs?? Bruh, all my effort went to waste. I can’t be trying to remember what I ate two days ago to log it again. Mega disappointing app.

Too confusing can’t change the amount of servings or how much you ate very easily then there are foods that I eat regularly and you have to keep scanning them in a pain not worth the aggravation it’s not convenient or easy takes too much time to figure it out and you have to go to different screens on the app just confusing
