Description

SIMPLE, EASY & FAST CALORIE COUNTING
Calory is your ultimate calorie counter and a quick way to count, track & tally your calories during the day.
WHY COUNT CALORIES?
Everyone has a personalized number of calories they should eat every day based on factors including their weight, height, activity levels, and weight loss/maintenance/gain goals. It’s hard to track calorie intake, though, not least because it’s easy to forget everything you eat during a busy day. Recording your calories as you eat gives you a clearer picture of the calories you are consuming. It also enhances your awareness of food values and nutrient levels, all of which helps you make healthier choices when eating.
HOW CALORY WORKS
Based on your weight, height and activity level, Calory will calculate a suggested daily calorie goal for you. The daily goal will also factor in if you want to maintain, lose or gain weight.
After you know your daily energy requirements, your challenge is to eat the right number of calories. Calory, meanwhile, will remind you throughout the day to record your calorie intake. Even better, there is no registration or sign up required! All the information you enter into Calory is stored on your iCloud, protecting your privacy.

Track Calories & Carbs Reviews

Looks Great

PaulMT on

New Zealand

After trying ask the Zapp Store calorie counting leaders and setting them all go to subscription based payments which makes them unaffordable (for me anyway) so it’s refreshing that Calorie offers multiple payment choices and is a very well featured app. The main feature for me is compatibility with Apple Health and custom good entries. I’m looking forward to seeing the app develop even further.

Simple and easy

I like this app because it’s super simple. It makes calorie counting a quick and easy process.

Glitches

Kogen_ on

United States

When I add a food to "my foods", it changes to something completely different when I log it leading up to an incorrect measure of calories and protein. Please fix this!

Doesn’t factor in workout activity, horrible food database

The design is beautiful, but missing some very basic key features. Doesn’t factor in workout activity, horrible food database

Can’t Use Own Recipes to Track Eating

Flywheeling on

United States

I like some things about using this app, though I was disappointed to discover there is no way to track any activities in order to at least estimate calories burned and therefore earn a slightly higher calorie limit for a special meal. But what truly annoys me is that while I can input a recipe into the app, I have yet to find a way to actually calculate eating something I have prepared for myself from that recipe. Which, to me, is ridiculous. It is in their database. Supposedly. It is in my Favorites. Supposedly. But when I look it up to track it, nope, nope, nope. And using a similar food to track a meal does not suffice. The upshot is that I experienced a weight gain this week despite religiously tracking, despite adding more roughage, and despite increasing my exercise. I know weight can go up and down for numerous reasons but mine went up too much. Not happy. Not happy at all.

My favorite calorie counter!!

kenziecreates on

United States

I’ve used this app for about a year now and I can say this is definitely my favorite calorie counter I love the simplicity! The visual widget really helps me as opposed to just a meter. I’ve tried numerous other calorie counting apps and I’ve always felt so overwhelmed with the interface but this app has kept me coming back and I feel like genuinely without it I would’ve have lost 10lb and for that I want to thank the developers for making this app so easy to use and I would definitely HIGHLY recommend this app for anyone who feels confused or overwhelmed with other tracking apps like my fitness pal.

Almost perfect, exercise calories?

Fgbsbdjdjsjkkkkk on

United States

I see the devs wrote back 2 years ago that manually subtracting cals from exercise will be implemented or it’s considered at least. Hoping to see this update! Love the app. The other ones are too busy and clunky. The UI/UX design on this app are perfect. Just a simple calorie counter with a pretty good food database for quick scans and look ups.

Love this app

I love how simple and to the point it is. Super easy to understand and watch what I’m tracking.

Obnoxious Freemium Ads

GeeWhillikers87 on

United States

Didn’t even get to really try the dang app before the zillion pop ups for “BuY tHe pRemiUM VeRSiOn!!!” started. I got tired of getting rid of them, so I went back to MyFitnessPal. At least they don’t charge for a basic feature like displaying/tracking macros.

Visually pleasing but lack of scanning and accuracy

Jaaalomop on

United States

I really wanted to love and purchase this app. But upon my first scan of an item, it failed to recognize it and the nutritional label scanning (manually) was not accurate. This is the most Important part. If that gets fixed, I’ll happily purchase and be a customer. Until then, I cannot.
