CaltexGO Reviews

Poor security features

Ummmm yeah, okay on

Australia

Cannot set a strong password through 1Password or iPhone password app as it does not allow pasting when creating. Account not made and I will not make one until this stupid feature is fixed so I can create my own strong passwords a and put it in the confirmation box instead of having just one filled.

I have tried to sign up several times now but cannot get past my personal detail section as it just freezes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Doesn’t work

Ultanits gamer on

Australia

Has never worked. Yes I deleted and reinstalled No I don’t want to email to talk about it, the developers must know there’s an issue

Doesn’t work. Can’t sign up.

Doesn’t work as all others describe. Can’t signup. Get all the way to end to ‘submit’ and throws error. Waste of time. Come on developers. Do your job properly.

Useless

ScorpGold on

Australia

Nothing ever loads, like other users, it has never worked. Have deleted and reinstalled, can’t make use of vouchers and special. No point at all, don’t bother signing up. Can’t access the help section, FAQs either. And don’t ask me to fill in a form with my feedback. Here it is!

Useless app!

Morherbee on

What is going on with this App? It’s absolutely hopeless. I’ve had it for a few months and have not been able to get anywhere with this. I have 50 points free for my birthday! I feel like buying my fuel somewhere else. Honestly you need to fix this useless App! Grrrrr!

Misleading and Not working Properly

I’m gonna put genuine review here Whenever I go to pay the money and show the card Shopkeeper’s pos machine takes ages to scan the card and this is not happening with me only but with lots of others I have seen in the queue. About misleading In t&c you mentioned that one can earn 2 Caltex points for premium fuel per 1 litre and 1 Caltex points for rest other fuels per litre, I’m fueling 60 litres of unleaded 91 which mean I can earn 60 Caltex points but BIG NO, whenever I check points history I only get less than half points of litres, So I am getting 26 points, Now, to earn $10 dollars off, Customer needs to reach 500 points. If the fuel price is €169.9 / litre, And I’m fueling 60 litres, I have to pay €169.9 X 60 = €10194 = $101.94 With this amount I’m supposed to receive 60 Caltex points because I fueled 60 litres but I’m receiving only 26 points. Now, 500 points can give $10 or €1000, so 26 points are worths of how much ? ((€1000 X 26) / 500) = €52 = $0.52, So you are calculating wrongly OR you’re not misleading common people like me OR you need to change your terms and conditions. Now, If I’m using RAC reward card to get €4 off per litre, So as per above calculations, If I’m fueling 60 litres then 60 X €4 = €240 = $2.40 Is my approx savings when condensing 60 litres with price of €169.9 So I’m going with RAC instead of Caltex Reward. Thanks

Worst app ever

It'sTyler on

Australia

Barely ever works. Updates are frequent and can take hours leaving you not actually being able to use the app when you need to. Sometimes it just won’t open at all…. Do yourself a favour and buy your fuel at a different fuel station

Not working

Shim arty on
