Camino Ninja App

I used this app every day on my winter journey on the Camino Frances, to check accommodation (which was scarce and needed confirmation therefore the phone numbers etc included very welcome) and the route (which although mostly well signposted sometimes needed checking to see whether I was on/off course) Absolutely fantastic and way better than any of the others I came across.

There are bugs, sometimes it doesn’t load and the map immediately auto-zooms back to location when you try to scroll further along (Nov ‘21). However, overall, this is a great app to help on the Camiño. Super useful in the dark when you can’t be sure of the street or see the arrows. Links to albergues and current info on the home screen. Useful distance information, next village information, etc. Some complementareo routes seem to be chosen as the main routes.

I was lucky to meet the owner and creator of this app. This app is constantly updated! Can’t go wrong. Buen Camino! 😊

Die Kartensicht stürzt neuerdings immer ab. Schade.

Hat mich über 1000km begleitet. Sehr traurig, dass der Camino Ninja verstorben ist. Ich habe die App nicht gelöscht und hoffe dass sie jetzt auch wieder für alle verfügbar ist. Please do Not Change A Thing! Aber es wäre natürlich toll wenn neue Wege dazu kämen wie der Camino Podiensis zB.

Großartige App mit allen wichtigen Features, die es zur Planung braucht! Danke dafür!

Große Hilfe zum planen der täglichen Ziele, nur schade dass man kein Luftbild hinterlegen kann und bei der Karte wird immer automatisch reingezoomt. Entweder auf den eigenen Standort oder auf die nächste Herberge, man kann nicht einfach mal rauszoomen und sich die Strecke angucken.

Alle notwendigen Informationen zu den Wegen und Unterkünften sind vorhanden. Für mich komplett ausreichend, mehr brauch ich nicht auf dem Weg.
