My transfer quality is set to Raw + JPEG but for some reason the camera has only taken JPEG images when connected to Camrote Another frustrating problem is the connecting. You always need to close the app couple times and try again before it connects to the camera. Once it gets connected the connection is stable tho but still some work to do with it.
Image transfer attempts with A7iii and A7Riii results in an error. Developer mentions using A7ii for development so perhaps only older models using the "in camera app" are supported? Supported /not supported camera list would be appreciated. Takes photo, starts recording, changes basic camera settings. Currently don't see a reason to use this over playmemories for A7iii or R, but excited to see the development go forward. (Full screen mode would be an improvement already). Purchases stuck in loading, so can't evaluate price or the bought features

This Works much better than the Sony edge garbage app. Sony should hire these developers to improve theirs.
Have this app on my a6400. Yes it works, but for only a minute or whenever you press the shutter and then it has a chance disconnecting itself. Also sometimes it says connected but the app is basically jammed and you cannot press any button. THIS IS DEADLY TO PHOTOGRAPHY THAT NEEDS TIMING. The instability of the app brings too many uncertainty for anyone who needs to capture an instance; if you are a sports or wildlife photographer, avoid this app.
Why do the menus get so buggy for connections? and how come the quality is WAY off when transferred?
I do like this app for my, workhorse, Sony a6300. I’m an architecture photographer and sometimes I need bracket shooting. I can’t seem to adjust the camera settings and get the app to show the shooting adjustment. Please add this feature. It would make this app great.
Works well with my Sony a6000 and my cousins a7ii
It’s rare that I pay for in app purchases these days. I’m impressed with this app because all the Fuji and Leicas can transfer effortlessly. But I don’t have the appetite to change my gear. Thank you Simon! Keep it up!
