Can't connect my camera to this piece of app anymore

one hangry customer on

I just can't wrap my head around how terrible piece of software this is from such a large and well established company. This used to work with my A7SIII, apparently not anymore. Horrible user experience.

The app is a life-saver but…

Eugene Nostrum on

I love the fact of this app! 🙂 I hope it gets updated and stays supported in the future versions of iOS for many more years! 🙏 However the UI is pretty uncomfortable. Why does it ask me for every day whether I am OK with importing images in the original size? Well, I selected “original” in the menu, have I not? Why pester me with this annoying dialog box multiple times during a typical use session? Also why can I import only by days? Why isn’t there an option to “import all new images” or even just the ability to select multiple dates right away? Please make the UX of the app more polished! 🙇‍♂️

Does simply not work very often

Why does the app not work? Could you please fix it?

Reliable only in disconnecting

AllNickNamesAreTaken0987654321 on

Latest IOS version, latest camera firmware, latest Imaging Edge app version. For me, the initial connection seem to be reliable. Unfortunately though, I’ve never been successful in completing the workflow, for example choosing the images to transfer. It just keeps disconnecting. Sometimes it allows me to choose the photos for some minutes, and wastes my time even more by doing so, as it still always leads to a disconnection, after which the photo selection process starts from the beginning. Actual review should be zero stars, but as one star is a minimum, lets appreciate the fact that the one star can be justified by it being reliable at least in the disconnection functionality.

Works again

Simosiilinen on

Don’t update the app. They clearly don’t test it. Will not update to the latest as it works now. Not sure how many versions behind. :)

Worthless junk

Wauweeeee on

Does not load, will not even show the privacy policy to get started.

Embarrassing for sony

Disappointed sony user on

What a bad app, barely ever works. Newest version is the worst functioning one so far. Incredibly frustrating!!

The user-friendliness is sub par for 2010..

Uuno on

And it’s 2023. Barely works, often does not.

Easy to use

karipahola on

New version seems to work fast with iphone 11. Wifi connection with qr code worked like a clock. Transferring was also fast and stable.

Sekava ja sekoileva
