A TILE PLACEMENT GAME OF CREATING LANDSCAPES, CLAIMING AREAS, AND GAINING POINTS
Discover or re-discover Carcassonne, the multi-awarded tile-based game in which players draw and place their tiles to build a medieval city. Place your cities, roads, abbeys or fields to enlarge your landscape, then place your followers, the meeples. Knights, robbers or farmers... Each meeple will help you control your territory and win points.
But be careful, you will need all your best strategy and tactics to maximum your points! Place your tiles and your meeples wisely to stop your opponents and win the game.
6 EXPANSIONS: ENLARGE YOUR LANDSCAPE AND OPTIMIZE YOUR POINTS
Thanks to the mini expansions ""The River"" and ""The Abbot"", you can embellish your landscape and vary your game to enjoy new ways to play! Double or even triple your points thanks to the new buildings in the Inns & Cathedrals expansion! And with the Traders & Builders expansion, score more points with the trading commodities and build faster with the builders! Discover the city of Carcassonne covered with a blanket of white snow in the Winter Edition... and look out for the Gingerbread Man and the bonus points he'll give you! Beware of the Dragon in ""the Princess and the Dragon"" expansion! He could eat your Meeples if you're not cautious. And be kind with the Princess: she might prefer you to other Meeples and toss them out of the cities!

FULL OF BUGS!
UPDATE, SO PLAYERS CAN PLAY THIS GAME!!!

Forces to register If you want full game.
Be warned! Forces to register If you want the full base game (what you get from physical board game). What a rip-off!!
Problems with connection
Vety often have problems with connection to server, also during the game
Online play does not work
Online games are unstable. Up to half of the games end because of a server error

Since the earlier version was put down from the store I was cynical to get the new version. Why would I want to pay again for the same game? I decided to buy the game. Here are same points to consider if you’re considering buying “the new” version. + 3D animations are cool and the graphics are modernized -/+ there a button that shows the fields that anyone is occupying. I’m not sure is this a good or a bad thing since it is part of the board game that you have to concentrate and make calculated decisions. This should be selectable on/off feature in the game settings. - Biggest minus is the time limit! That should be an optional feature. That combined with the fact that you CANNOT leave during a game since the game DOES NOT support push notifications. - The are only 6 expansions. The old version had 11. And I did pay from all of those. Why would I pay again? - This uses independent graphics, so it does not like anything like the boardgame version.
Dissapointed
I have played 4 games online. 3 of them has been ended because the game has been death. Frustraiting when this happens after 2 hours playing...I bought all the extras except winter and it feels that I wasted my money! How can I get my money back? Not worth of buying, if you want to play online. Playing against AI is ok, but very very slow..
