Carta - Manage Your Equity

Carta enables employers to retaliatory behavior. Does nothing when such behavior occurs.

Have been trying to add an additional company into my portfolio, however, can never hear back from the support team to do so, now contacting my employer in about the service so that way we can look at alternatives.

I’d like to decide myself when I want to install app updates

A decent app for an quick, at-a glance view of your options, but surprisingly missing two fundamental features: 1) the app does not show your vesting schedule, 2) the app does not show your strike price or current share valuation, so you have no way of viewing your current equity value. If you only want to know the number of vested options and the total number of options, the app is adequate. I give the app a third star because it has a simulator to show what exercising your options would look like. But it’s pretty surprising that the app is missing two basic things like vesting schedule and strike price.

Signed up via web, downloaded App… they don’t sync up.

Simple, intuitive app.

You have to go to the website to accomplish anything with CARTA. The app is worthless. It used to be more agile, but there is no way to view anything beyond your account profile at this point.

Won’t even allow me to log in on iPhone. Y’all should fix this asap.

I invested in a company and they use this app to document the shares but there is no way to liquidate. It is essentually a fancy looking place to save an agreement. No intelligence, no actual features an investor can use.
