Difficult to send a simple wire transfer due to inconsistencies in wire transfer directions
Trying to send a wire transfer to buy shares has been an absolute nightmare. Everything seemed like it was gonna work smoothly for the wire transfer directions sent - the exact amount to the penny and Carta sends an email the next day saying insufficient funds and claims I sent $10 less than what my bank verifies I sent, I called in to bring the error to Carta’s attention, and after being called on hold for over 1/2 an hour, and the quality of the call was so bad I had to get them to repeat everything 3 times due to their VOIP phone system and crappy call quality, they were completely unable to even understand the problem. Absolutely a gong show. Horrible and unprofessional, and they can’t even complete a simple transaction correctly
