Chaayos India

The 199/- samosa chat (on Zomato) apparently now comes with just one samosa in it 🙂🙂 I get the whole inflation situation and what not and I might sound like someone who’s probably being naive about a petty thing but it matters to me and I couldn’t care less about how my opinion makes me look like. I’ve been an old customer of Chaayos, have not ordered a ton lot but it has definitely been one of my favorite spots for good quality chai/snacks made with fresh ingredients, good hygiene and the quantity used to justify the price. I’m not sure if my today’s order was just a one time thing or if they’re now seriously taking some very bizarre and stingy cost cutting approach. It’s not about whether I can afford it or not, it’s more about the quantity justifying the price here. Enough said, most probably will be thinking twice at least before ordering from this franchise.

The manager, chef, female gate owning officer, cleaning staff. And the cleanliness of the ambience & most important in this covid situation- just reminds of feel of easecat home environment- so courtesies, motivated & not lease their warmth in dealing with the needs of the customers beyond their personal level- sooooooo satisfied for only mon thing since first unlock-amazing tea, top of the world taste-chicken paratha- Indian flavour - all indian Radha- ur team at Vasant Vihar & Sector 10, pinnacle mall, dwarka-manager & total staff- so cheerful- zigs bless u & all- thankyou thankyou

Multiple reload fails, money gets deducted and there are no refunds. The customer service is non existent. The store it sells people are helpless, even though they were pushing us to sign up and use the app. After multiple failed attempts when I added money to wallet and did pay, the order was not placed due to an error! Absolute crappy experience and I’ve lost 600+ rupees just to buy 1 chai!

Needless to say Chaayos is one of the best thing that has happened to india. I have been a huge fan for years. However I stuck to in store direct orders for 7-8 years since I have Chaayos in my vicinity where I have lived. My experience with Chaayos wallet app wasn’t always great and I was always sceptical. But this time, I am forced to write a poor review. I recently started using Chaayos app for dine in orders as the order times in the store was high and there are promotions running. It made perfect sense. I loaded my wallet and placed order. I noticed that Order fulfilment does not reflect on the app. I dint care because I got the tea. Next time tho, I placed the order even before I reached the store as I was in hurry and I just had to pick it. Lo and behold the store was closed for construction. And Order was placed. No option to cancel. And no cancellations from Chaayos end. I sent an email to Chaayos support and I get two responses. On call, I am told I go to any Chaayos store and I call this number (personal number) and they will speak to the store guy to give me chai. That sounds odd. The other response i received was that we can ‘refund’ the money to wallet because chai was prepared. ??!! I am speechless. I will continue to follow what comes out of it and honestly would not follow up a lot since it’s just 109. Write a poor review is the best / worst I can do.
