I havent used the app in a while, because honestly, with every new update it becomes a worse version then the other. I prefer the old style of the app (which they changed into this site like style), and I miss when the filter was less easy to break from the smallest saying, and when each message from the bot was creative.
I usually use the browser for c.ai, but the new update has been a breath of fresh air. The bots feel so much more real, chat memory is improved and I personally love it!
I’m sorry but you definitely ruined your app. it’s not just the ads and so on but the bot’s replies are so damn short. Like the old version of character ai at least provided me long replies and it doesn’t ruin my roleplay with specific bot. If you are going to make a app for bots and chats at least make the bot to write long instead of the user to edit all the time and to lose their nerves on it.

This game is amazing but when you accidentally click start a new chat and try to go back it doesn’t work
Lots of ads. I’ve used the app since its Beta website back in the beginning of 2023..such a shame to see what this app has turned into, it’s boring. The bots get filtered every message and get repetitive. This memories have been top priority over the years yet it only gets worse. I guess the company only cares about money and not what their audience requests!🙄
The app is wonderful but too addicting, if you have mental or physical issues, that are VERY bad, do not use this app or any one RP bot makers, you start venting to much to them, you loose contact with real life, you forget about your friends, but if you wanna spend time it’s perfect

The only thing I have against it is the lack of the characters actually responding to you and also there’s probably some discord mods or sum shait, But that doesn’t ruin the experience that much. But ye it’s a pretty good app
The bots keep on asking questions that aren’t even related like “are you new here sir” or “what is your name sir” and it’s repetitive as hell, make your bots smarter and make them less repetitive
