Charging points never works and it is never mentioned in the app. Raised a complain one year ago because I was charged 26£ for charging in Glasgow while I never went there with my car. I got told to discuss with their provider who I don’t know.

Get rid of the email authentication. It literally doesn’t work and can be overridden by logging out and logging back in. This is atrociously built, tested and is an embarrassment to Scotland.

Dirty practices from ChargeScotland they will take £35 out of your account before actually checking the charger works. It will tell you a charger is available, it won’t bother actually doing any pre-use checks whatsoever, it’ll charge you, then once the payment has completed it will then tell you instantly the charger is unavailable. I went around and checked all my connections tried it again and another £35 out my account. £70 down and nothing to show for it. Will likely have to wait upto a week to get that money back as well. Look around at reviews on google, they’re probably one of the worst charge networks around and they clearly don’t care.

Just 100% awfulness across the board. Nothing works. Zero quality of life features - just absolute pee

What on earth is this? Nothing works, app is down, charging points broken/vandalised, 2 week wait to get an email response. This is a complete failure. Why would anyone want an electric car in this country if this is what you have to rely on. The price of charging/limitations on charging are poor too. It is inconvenient at its best.

Have never had a seamless experience with Chargeplace. App rarely works smoothly and most lately won’t accept passwords despite logging onto website, resetting password, re-downloading app etc. After calling call centre (regular occurrence in general with this company albeit they are helpful when you get through) this is a “known issue” and has been the case for some time. Very poor.
