Great app, very good board and great on the iPad, especially for 15 minute games.
The GUI is blah and not user-friendly. Worse: There are quite a few puzzles that have more than one solution. Yet, your app does not take that into account and unfairly deems a solution wrong. Strangely, there is no contact email. Email, to the one provided in the newsletter, bounces.
I’ve been on this online club for decades, but seeing this latest app… it is just so terrible I am forced to look for another alternative!
Really nice, clean revamp and relaunch for ICC. This is really promising—some of the other sites have lost focus of what made a good chess app, so this is encouraging. Excited to see what is next. EDIT: Could we please get landscape mode on tablet and a few more theme choices? These would be my top two items. Keep up the good work!
I’ve been playing on here for years but I’ll be canceling my membership. Update has ruined the site. It used to be great. Nothing is the same. Rated games are flooded with guest players whose ratings are useless. I don’t see any of the old players from before on here anymore either. They must have all cancelled as well.
Please make the board stay still when I’m playing on my phone Lichess does not scroll away maybe take a hint from them
it’s basically the ICC mobile website loaded in embedded browser
After the update, the app took a big step backwards. Things that MUST be fixed: - when analyzing past games you must show the clock for each player as you step through the moves - when you show the game history you must show my rating after each game, not just my opponents rating. You also need to show how the game ended (checkmate, time expired, resigned, or draw). - the game history should be a menu item, not a submenu of Analysis
Why is this app taking steps back? iPad version is now stuck on vertical which makes it unusable. Options for game boards and pieces are limited more than the previous old version.
