Chess ME - with Friends

I am new to ChessMe. I played my first game today with a Friend in another country which I happened to win. I haven’t played chess in over twenty years I am very impressed with the design. The interface is intuitive and helpful. I love that my playing partner and I can text each other during a game. I also appreciate the warmup board especially since my skills are pretty rusty. Kudos to the developer!

Many apps out there, but… this one… just skip a coffee and get the only payment they accept. 4$ lol so worth it, it’s amazing!

Very good app, also the support from developer is excellent. Pointed out an issue and it was resolved within a couple day!!! Thanks for keeping this running

The app is suddenly glitchy--games disappear before I can submit moves! Hopefully this issue is resolved soon :)

been using the app for awhile with friends and while it works well in text messages, the actual app bombs you with push notifications every few minutes while playing. this wouldn’t be an issue if the app allowed push notifications to be turned off, but if the app wants a review from me that badly, it’ll get one. don’t bother buying premium, btw

It's non obstructive jus chill play chess

This App looked perfect! But when I text my husband to start a game, the first move is already made about for me. This happens in about four out of five out of five starts. I restart, restart, restart… until finally it works. We go through this at the beginning of every game. It works perfectly once we get started, I’m sad because chess via text is an excellent solution for us. And it’s first move was really dumb.

Such a great app for playing chess with your friends! Doesn’t crash and no annoying ads.
