• Includes an animated introduction to the basic rules for writing Chinese characters.

This app is superb! Fun, addictive, simple, and above all very useful. Very complete too, with pinyin, simplified and traditional sets and lots of packs to choose from. If you're looking to practice writing and recognizing characters, this is the best app around.

Good to learn strokes
It is a great tool to learn strokes. The downfall is I don't get the meaning - as many chinese characters are more meaningful in a phrase. If there is an extension to show the meaning within a phrase - will be great.
