Late delivery.
Ordered $60+ worth of meal. Messaged the customer service and Had to wait for 2 hours to receive the dinner. I had to order somewhere else just to get dinner. What a waste of money. They offered to give a refund... of $8.. that only covers the delivery fee 🙄
Definitely not using this app again if i am hungry. Delivery time is usually 1 - 1 1/2hour. This time it was a 2 hour wait.

The worst app for delivery
Food is always late which i can wait but it gets annoying when you’re hungry
Today i have an missing order. I come out to pick up the food after I receive the message and nothing there
I contact the app and they told me to check my cctv. I don’t but even if i do, i call the police on food delivery?
I requested a refund but they can’t
Extremely disappointed
My first order from Chowbus has resulted in me never wanting to order from them again. I ordered some food and delivery time was in 30-60mins which i was okay with as I live a bit far away. After maybe 30 minutes of waiting I got a call from them saying the driver was late. I asked for an ETA and the person could not give me even a rough estimated time of arrival. I messaged the support and first time I was left on seen after a few back-and-forth messages. My order was already 30 mins late so I then messaged again and was answered by the same support person. The conversation kept going and every time she answered, it was just a “sorry for the wait”, “we will train our driver better” but no actual palpable solutions with my end. I then got a text saying my food will be here in an hour, making it a total of 2 hours and a half of waiting for my food. I spent a lot of money for this delivery so yeah, after this delivery, I will be uninstalling the app and warning all my friends and family about this delivery app. I’m usually very understanding but this is ridiculous.
Delivery is very slow
It shows the order will be delivered at 7pm but it didn't come at 9pm

Disappointed to say the least
I received the wrong drink that was not only from a different store but it was terribly watered down too, I brought it the chowbus customer service teams attention and they started started victim blaming me. I’ve worked in customer service for years and I’d be embarrassed if I was them. Arguing with me for 2 hours over a drink that wasn’t even worth $5. I lost my appetite after that and I couldn’t even finish my food after such poor handling.
Not for those who can only speak English
Haven’t had a problem with most orders since I get to the door immediately when the driver arrives. However, almost none of the drivers I’ve had over the 23 orders I’ve placed can speak English. They didn’t understand what “leave it at the door” or “give me 2 minutes” meant, which resulted in my doorbell being rung continuously while I couldn’t get to the door. Drivers aside, my very first order was deemed to be correct even though I didn’t get what I ordered — because the restaurant translated the name of the dish incorrectly. So even though the dish wasn’t what I ordered according to its English name, I was told it was correct because of the Chinese name.
Unless you can speak/read Chinese, this app is not for you.

They charge me long distance fee and transaction fee without any notice. I found I
paid these fees after I received the invoice.
