Best ❤️ Tracking App with note field and custom groups 🙌

Big Mac 1010 on

I really like the ability to but categories into custom groups. I track everything from life events to Tesla charging to Doctor appointments to choirs I do to dropping off dry cleaning. Even tracking my son’s medication. I can’t tell you how many times my wife is like when was the last time this happened and with this app I can easily refer back to ten last time an event happened. I also love the notes features it gives and all the different colors and icons you can choose from. Would love an Apple Watch ⌚️ complication. I can’t say enough good things about this app. I also like how you can easily swipe from right to left to add an event. The Ui is sold give it a try I bought the one time premium version because I don’t like subscription totally worth it. 🔥🔥🥇

Clean, simple, focused

Real time journaling and mood prompts overwhelm me. Chronicling lets me tap to note what I was doing and I can reflect later—if I want.

Was good until…

I love using this app to keep track of everyday things. It was working great until about a week ago, now it will not let me log any past tasks that I may have forgotten to put in. It only logs current tasks which is very frustrating. Please fix this issue

Fantastic app for tracking anything

Appreciate the ease of use and flexibility of using this for tracking virtually anything. Also an incredibly responsive developer! I can highly recommend this app.

Asked me to purchase within using the app for 10 seconds

Not a fan of task apps asking me to pay when I’m trying to catch up with tasks that I’ve put off due to depression.

Simple and effective, love it

Title self-explanatory. As simple as simple gets. No unnecessary bells and whistles to bloat the experience. Graphs make it easy to see progress or lack thereof. Good job.

A dream come true!

I have so much love for this app. It is exactly what I have been looking for pretty much my entire adult life, and it’s even more vital to me now as I attempt to heal the damage of burnout and dissociation, and learn how to accommodate chronic illnesses and late diagnosed neurodivergence that keep my day-to-day highly unpredictable. Most other productivity apps or sites I’ve tried, and I’ve tried dozens, require too much setup, have distracting or overstimulating designs or features, or just serve as another source of shame which leads to avoidance. I am discouraged by reminders that I am behind or late or just not being productive enough. I also struggle to determine priority or frequency of tasks, and if a task gets hidden until the due date? Absolutely setting myself up for failure. Some habit trackers I’ve tried are satisfactory, but I often fail to maintain them for one reason or another. Every time I try a new app, I say “I wish it would just let me track how often I do something and give me the data, not tell me when to do it and make me feel bad when I fail!” And then I found Chronicling! Easy to setup, no unnecessary frills, simple but pleasing design, very reasonable cost for premium, a genuinely convenient watch app!!! The data/graphs have helped me recognize patterns and get an idea of what my instinctual productivity is like, notice what I tend to avoid or gravitate towards, identify periods of high or low activity and correlate them with my health or mental state or whatever else, see where I might be wasting energy on lower priority tasks and burning out before more important things, and also just remember when I last did something! I’m still populating it with all that I want to track, slowly integrating things to avoid overwhelm, and getting better at consistently logging, but I don’t dread doing it, and that means I am far more likely to remember. It’s such a new app, too, and I am so excited to see how it grows. I don’t know if the dev created this with any of the things I’ve mentioned in mind, but I thank them profusely either way.

The best

Incredible UI. Would be great if you can add reminders as notifications. Like everyday at 8pm you get a notification to check your habits. Sometimes I forget to put them on a day that I’m busy

So Amazing! Could use convenience features though!

This app is so amazing at doing exactly what it needs to do. The only thing missing is to sync with ICloud so I can also track through my MacBook. Hoping the developer adds this feature!
