Much better than the rip off filmic pro!
Fantastic, feature packed app. Very customisable and easy to use too. I purchased the Lifetime version and the LUT packs which are great. Definitely recommend this app. Thanks.
An excellent app. Full of pro level features which make full use of the cameras on an iPhone 16 pro. Excellent video capture, a customisable interface, LUT support (via IAP), a pretty competent photo option and much more. In the past couple of weeks since upgrading my iPhone I've tested a few similar apps but this is the one I always return to.
I’ve only recently started using an iPhone (16 Pro) for shooting video to augment my mirrorless cameras. Having tried several apps, including those produced by big software companies with big reputations, I have to say that Cinema P3 Pro is in a class of its own. It has a simple, intuitive user interface making it really easy to use but with advanced features that are generally the best in class in comparison to any other apps I’ve tried. Being able to shoot Apple Log at 60 fps internally is the killer for me,as the in-built Camera app can only do this with an external storage device attached, which is inconvenient at best and dangerous at worst because of the possibility of losing connection while shooting. The app also has advanced stills photography features. I could go on and on but I’ll finish this review by saying that this is an app that feels really cared for by the developer. Thank you.
Having recently paid to upgrade to the latest Filmic Pro only to find it was no longer working with Osmo 6, I decided to try this. Ok so it doesn’t integrate with Osmo 6 however as an app it’s way better than filmic pro (which doesn’t work if you don’t have an active internet connection). Def worth 5 star review even with minor issues that drops settings occasionally (just reboot the app). These niggles are not enough to drop a star. Would be the icing on the cake if you could integrate gimbal capability (hint hint ;-) )
I’m very impressed by this app. While I’m not a professional I can see a lot of features and controls that can be used for professional purposes. I have been searching for a good app that is of a reasonable price to enable me to practice and learn more about videography. I have a limited experience and am keen to learn together with some professional lens attachments from ShiftCam. I decided to try the Pro version as it is a one time purchase for a small fee. Filmic Pro has lost so many customers and I think this would be a great alternative. Try it out and see….
As the title suggests… there is no better video shooting option on iOS! I’ve used them all extensively (Filmic, BeastCam, Protake, Black Magic etc) and not one can touch the UI, usability and functions this app offers and each update gets better and better…
If you want any support your out of luck as they just ignore any email you send asking for support
Update. Have been using this app on an iPhone 14 Pro Max for a while now and it’s a joy to use - I have nothing but praise to say for it. The developer seemed to get everything right, from the pricing point and the fully functioned free trial to the apps functionality, usefulness and most importantly - results. I’ve tried all of the camera apps on the App Store over the years, but this one, well IMHO it’s a no brainier if you’re looking to open up the potential of your iPhone camera. Great onscreen controls - in places where you want them with a good and a very comprehensive (but simple) menu structure. The only thing I’d like to see is support for the DJI OSMO 6 if/when DJI make their SDK’s available.
I have used many apps over the years and also used many D SLRs and this is just absolutely fantastic so many options and so many different ways of storing presents. The metering is also really good so many modes and the fact that the developers are constantly updating the app with new features, happy creators, happy filmmakers. Cheers folks.
