Read any of her posts and you know how hard she’s worked to get to where she is and how willing she is to bring everyone along the ride of leveling UP! The contents of the app and the community experience is worth its weight in gold 💖💖💖
I joined the CirquePlus challenge after having surgery with the goal of getting back to the level I was at before my injury. Not only did I meet that goal I felt so much more confident in the air and with floor work then ever before. Allie Cooper was (and still is after the 6 weeks) extremely helpful and would modify workouts to help with versatility and lack of access to apparatuses. If you have ever felt frustrated with trying to find a trainer or a program that fits your Aerial needs, I 110% recommend this program!
This program is a solid solo training program for aerialists. Between the home, vertical, and bar apparatus workouts, training anywhere is definitely possible. I used this program postpartum and primarily stuck with the home workouts bc I don’t have studio access. It was so helpful to have progressions and different exercise options to meet me where I was in the beginning. After 6 weeks, I could both see and and feel that I was stronger and more capable! The workouts are challenging but not impossible, and really helpful for acknowledging and addressing areas where I need to improve my strength. I plan to go through the different workouts many more times!
Cirque+ is an excellent program for conditioning what you need for circus aerial. Workouts are designed for home and studio; studio has both bar and vertical apparatus versions. The program comes with demo video clips and a timer set to run you through the set of circuits in 30-40 minutes. Sometimes, I used the home version as a warm-up before class later and it would make a marked improvement in class. Well worth it; start the timer and don't get distracted!
I love Cirqueplus for both its efficiency and versatility. All workouts can be completed in 30-40 minutes and there are 3 options of every workout to adapt to the equipment you have available - home, pull-up bar, and vertical. The workouts are harder than I would plan for myself which is the extra push I need to improve my strength! I went from being about to do 0 push-ups with proper form and now I can do 4 sets of 10! I also got some excellent tips for my straight arm inverts and straddle beats from Allie during the program - I love her analytical coaching style and ability to break down complexe skills!
I started using this app with goals that I really couldn’t seem to achieve on my own and I didn’t have time to go back to classes. This app has been perfect for me- I can scale it back if I need it, yet it is structured enough to really push me! There is so much variety in it also- you can use aerial equipment, or there are workouts catered to help you gain strength even when you can’t access aerial equipment! I can invert once again (which I never thought I would be able to do again) and I feel so much stronger. This has been a lifesaver for me!
Cirque + is an excellent program! The workouts are challenging, but accessible. Each workout follows a pattern of circuits, but they vary so you never get bored! The app is super easy to use and follow along with. After completing the 6 week challenge, I can feel improvements in my strength and endurance in the air, even though I mostly did the home workouts! Minimal equipment needed, which is great when you don’t have access to aerial rigging! I excited to keep using the app and workouts and keep getting stronger. Highly recommended!
These exercises definitely work! I noticed the differences on week 2, my endurance is better, I felt stronger (my pushups are better, my plank is better). I love the app as well, simple & straightforward & it makes sure you complete everything 😏😄 If you’re looking for a workout that get you stronger, easy to follow yet challenging at the same time, especially in these weird times this is for you!
