Excellent on iPhone but…
I’ve found the app very useful on iPhone but at some point - I think around the time that Kulemba GmbH took over - it has stopped working on my iPad. I use the iPad - for its screen size - when planning rather than when actually traveling so I like to have the app on both devices. If I find myself reverting to the ‘built-in’ mapping on the iPad I tend not to go back to CityMaps.

App has been working for years then suddenly stopped on holiday just when I needed it! 😡 Doesn’t seem to want to work anymore!! Very frustrating
A "light" version would be nice
Was fast and light when it first came out, but has gone the way of all apps to become rather slow and over-loaded with features. Would happily pay for a streamlined "map-only" version without the extras.

No longer works
Download a map, then get a black screen and no map loads. Useless now.
No longer works
I’ve used both versions of this app (the regular and the pro) and been very happy with it but now I can’t download any new maps. I choose ‘download’ and it just stays at 0% downloaded, however long I wait. What’s happened?
Blank screen
Very frustrating, downloaded off line map and brief on locations of interest for Amsterdam, marked places. Arrived there and a blank screen with the locator in the middle. Thank God for offline google maps.
Formerly great app
I’ve used this app for years and it was very useful but now it pretty much useless- you may as well use your favourite Maps Application as this one just shows a blank screen with your location dot in the middle. I used this in New York a few years back and found it indispensable- I went back there last December (2023), re- downloaded the map but only worked if I had data switched on. Same thing in Jordan (January 2024) - Blank screen. Absolutely pointless downloading the map in the first place. I’ve looked at the reviews and there seems to be lots of people with the same issue. I’m afraid that I will be offloading this app with immediate effect
