I love the creativity of the reminders and tasks lists
As someone whose been struggling to cancel my subscription to no avail, the least that can happen is you listen to my ideas! First! Give us an option if we want to go straight into the next task! Sometimes I’m not scheduling in self care or breaks, I’m just going straight to task to task and screwing up with all the timing. I like to do a task, take a break, then move onto the next task. Second! The tab for distracting thoughts? Love it! But can there be some sort of reminder about it later? Sometimes those are good ideas, but as soon as the task is done, that tab disappears and I don’t remember what I was thinking about. That’s really it, I actually really love this app and it’s helped me immensely, but my family and I have fell on hard times so when I was trying to save money where we can, I tried to cancel the subscription for now. I was going to join back up. But it’s like jumping hoops to do that!!!
Took the quiz via IG, got all the info and decided to sign up for the “free” trial (newsflash: there is no free option) and I was immediately sent to the app store to download the app. Once in, I signed in and was taken straight back to the quiz I had already completed. The Existing User button on the homescreen isn’t functional, so if I want to go any further I have to complete the quiz again, and I’m not doing that. As an ADHDer, I am now frustrated and dopamine-less, and there is no way I’m continuing with this app. I want a refund less than an hour in.
When used properly, it keeps you focused and feeling productive.
The free trial is $89.99/yr and the yearly membership is $59.99/yr no trial. So in an app for ADHD they are charging $30 for a free week and hoping you'll forget to cancel it or not check the pricing.
My cognitive rehab therapist said not to attempt to use Clarify ADHD at this time (if ever). I hadn’t even accessed the app after showing it to him. I unsuccessfully tried to cancel through Apple Pay, then had a hard time trying to cancel it through the app itself. I had been looking for “Clarify ADHD” in Apple Pay, but it came up as “Fabulous” instead. By the time I figured it out, I was charged a second $39.99 fee, which Customer Care refused to refund even though my cognitive rehab therapist says I shouldn’t use it. They wouldn’t even suspend my membership so I could potentially use it in the future if my therapist clears it. It’s sad that Fabulous created this app and encouraged me to try it because I’ve lost respect for them. Fabulous has joined the legions of app developers that take advantage of people with ADHD and similar neurodivergence.
The deep work timers in this app really do help me get work done when I need to focus. My job is a bit too dynamic to use these, but at home when I need to get chores done, it keeps me from getting off course. I’m on day 9. So far, so good.
This app didn’t even work when I downloaded it. Customer service is not helpful whatsoever. They will not refund money for something that I can’t even use. DO NOT use this app. It’s a scam.
I signed up and paid $1 on the website for my trial…then it prompted me to download the app. I did that and signed in, and the app confirmed I have the Premium Subscription. Great! Then it goes to a screen where you either click “Continue with Apple”, “Skip” or “Existing User”. The Existing User button doesn’t work, and the other two buttons take you through the questionnaire again and ask you to pay for a trial, AGAIN. So I paid $1 for a trial membership that I can’t use. Cool.
You don’t get to actually use the app unless you pay the stupid ridiculous price for it. Waste of my time.
