Incredibly slow and pointless
The mother of all free-to-pay [sic] base builders. In later stages, game loop is incredibly slow: some buildings and upgrades take multiple days to construct.
Aborting the game and returning MANY years later (around 8yr, probably; though I played in more than 10yr ago too), I found there’s been adjustments to progression make my current set of upgrades unbalanced, barely playable and extremely lengthy to get into a balanced state.
There is an attempt to make clans an interesting mechanic, but it falls flat: you are at the mercy of clan leaders and other people’s and game’s clock (weekend raids, clan wars) and kicking you out is one button away. Donating “capital gold” to clan is something you don’t get back.
Paid in-game currency is, as is common with free-to-pay builders, extremely expensive, to the point I elect not give developers _any_ money. It’s a shame: this was enough of a time-sink that, despite my dislike for the genre and this implementation, I did want to pay something.
But this type of games is built for people who like waiting a lot (if you can even get to a balanced state), or who want to pay a lot. “Log in once a day” is not a legitimate solution to the “you will wait a lot” disrespect.
I am neither of those people, so this is getting an uninstall like all other quasi-free base-builders.

The game is great and has been ever since it came out. I was thinking if instead of charging €8 for a scenery you could buy it with gems. Maybe charge it for the same amount of gems you would buy hero skins. It’s a small thought but do consider it.
Amazing Game
For me this game gets five stars. It is soo fun to play. This game has really good graphics and the idea is so fun. I love logging on every day and seeing all my new builds or if I can upgrade my stuff. I love seeing my village grow. My one concern is that a few years ago I made on account and I got pretty far. I stopped playing for about a year but when I logged back on my game wouldn’t update so I couldn’t get back in. I had to create a new account but to be honest it was probably for the best because I had forgotten how to use some stuff. Overall for me this game is amazing. One more thing would be a suggestion. I think it would be a good idea if you let’s say upgraded a cannon that if you had a second free builder you could use it to upgrade the cannon as well and it would go quicker. I adore this game and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new game. 👍
