Over updating / unfair gameplay

K..Ádám on

The game is being severely over updated for the past two years, and the final blow were the card evolutions. They make the game extremely unfair and the fact that they gave the mega knight, a card that is really powerful on its own an evolution is just too much. The game didn’t need the evolutions at the first place, its just feels like a huge cash grab, while messing up the whole fair gamplay of Clash Royale.

Growing up, I had a blast playing this game, it was everything I could have ever wanted in a game. The gameplay was addictive, the community was vibrant, and it genuinely felt like a world where skill and strategy mattered. I remember spending countless hours grinding, exploring, and competing, all without ever feeling like I was at a disadvantage. Back then, it felt pure—a game designed for players to enjoy, not to exploit. But as time passed, everything started to change. Gradually, updates began introducing “premium features,” and at first, it didn’t seem like a big deal. However, the pay-to-win elements crept in slowly but surely, until they eventually took over. Items and power-ups that were once earned through dedication and effort became locked behind exorbitant paywalls. New players could buy their way to the top in days, completely undermining the time and effort veterans like me had put into the game. What made it worse was how blatant the monetization became. The developers introduced loot boxes, battle passes, and tiered memberships, all of which felt like manipulative ways to squeeze money out of the player base. It wasn’t just cosmetic items—they tied essential in-game progression and competitive balance to these microtransactions. Even the community began to feel the strain. People became more divided, with those who paid dominating leaderboards and those who didn’t being left in the dust. The camaraderie I once loved in the game was replaced with frustration and resentment. It felt like the game was no longer about having fun but about how much money you were willing to throw at it. Eventually, I quit, but it wasn’t easy. This was a game that had defined so much of my childhood, and it was heartbreaking to watch it transform into something so unrecognizable. What had once been a source of joy had become a source of frustration and disillusionment. I still cherish the memories of how it used to be, but I can’t help but feel a deep disappointment every time I think about what it turned into.

Hatalmas taps a Supercellnek.

Jó a stratégiád?
