Climote Remote Heating Control

Unfortunately my Climote controller isn’t working and the numbers in the app aren’t connecting. I suspect they have gone bust. Zero support available no twitter response nor email.

The Climote app works ok but sometimes in bad weather the app won’t connect to the controller unit in our house - I think because mobile phone signal drops in stormy weather. Would be better to have the controller unit connect to the house WiFi! Also, I think it would be better to have the option to create more than 3 time periods for heating stored hot water throughout the day

Well this worked for one week brilliantly then it just freezes on the tiles and doesn’t connect to the heating controller anymore? Have emailed and apparently they know there’s a problem but this seems to be going on way too long, who’s keeping watch of this it’s ridiculous, so I paid £17 for one weeks use and now they don’t even answer the phone anymore I feel totally mugged off!!

This app fails at least 2-3 times a week If you email them it is miraculously fixed. It’s as if no one is monitoring the system until told to go look! Will be finding an alternative

This app is very poor, and seldom displays room temperatures on the Home Screen without first entering the menus behind. Pretty dreadful all around.

Nothing wrong with the previous clear interface now replaced with an insipid unclear graphic. But worst of all there is no access to saved schedules.

So the app looks clean and modern but is lacking in functionality. One of the best features was being able to enable your saved presets, with the new look this feature has been removed and I can’t schedule my custom presets.

A happy user of Climote for 5 plus years with 2 installations, one in Ireland and one in the UK. it reliably lets me do just what I need to - manage both heating systems from my phone or PC. Am puzzled by some -ve reviews, I’ve found the app very stable with few issues, runs in the background and is always there without the need to login frequently. 5 Stars from me!

Works very well - brilliant for monitoring house temperature. V responsive- no problems at all

This is an awful app in every way. Functionality is hit and miss at the best of times and the UI is very poor. I suggest the designers go back to the drawing board and do some proper user research then develop the app to suit the needs of the users.
