Clio - Your Guide to History

This is, hands down, one of my favorite apps. Tons of great information on local sites, with comprehensive descriptions! A big thank you to the creators!

Our family has long enjoyed using Clio when we travel - works great to discover nearby museums and we love the walking tours that include so much detail about local history.

This remains the very best app for discovering historical sites and there are many great history walking tours and virtual tours of museums as well.

This is the ideal app for history lovers. This is a great app if you are new to a town you just moved to, or even if you are passing through on vacation. You can spot the blimps on your map and follow down the rabbit hole of hidden histories that you may have heard of in passing or never realized at all.
