Cloud Battery Reviews

Barely works

I had high hopes for this app. I was looking to show my phone, watch, and iPad batter levels in a widget. However even with background app refresh enabled, the app doesn’t seem to refresh at all. I’m left with wildly inaccurate readings that I can’t trust. Not sure if a recent iOS update broke it, but it’s pretty useless now.

Its a waste! Never updates!

Doesn’t support anything

Doesn’t support the following: iPhone 15 pro max Apple Watch Apple Pencil pro Powerbeats pro The app doesn’t detect any Bluetooth devices I’ve tried.

not worth the price

Sure, the app is free—but since it basically doesn’t work, the time and memory it takes up aren’t worth it.

Loosing connections

I managed once to get four of my devices to display their battery state of charge (soc) in the app and on the iPhone widget. I managed to get two devices to display soc on my watch - once. In all three cases, the devices quit updating or disappeared entirely. Then I couldn’t get them re-connected. I’m very disappointed the app can’t do what the add in the App Store stated it could do. Sounded too good to be true and it was - but only for a moment.

Doesn’t really work (paid version)

Most of the time, there is an hourglass above my other devices and they haven’t updated in several days. I have the app running and background refresh on all. Would be great but doesn’t give accurate info.

Broken beyond belief. Developer unserious about maintaining

Among the many problems that make this app unusable, here are the biggest gripes 1. Widgets appear blank and can’t display items saved to cloud battery 2. Adding devices or customizing the names of those devices refuses to safe. The interface for these screens is unintuitive. 3. Connected devices stop updating battery status 4. Apple Watch can’t be found 5. Notifications don’t work at all Given all of these things, who would pay to upgrade?

Perfect Solution for Tracking iPad battery on iPhone

NEC001 on

United States

If you own both an iPhone and iPad, you’re probably aware that there’s no way add either device to the native battery widget of the other. Cloud battery solves that. The fact it connects via internet as opposed to Bluetooth allows you to track battery levels from anywhere, which is convenient. When i initially tried the app about a year ago, there were times when it didn’t seem to refresh often enough and would therefore give an inaccurate battery level. Fortunately, it seems like all the quirks have been figured out by the developers, and it now seems to work flawlessly. Great app to have on Apple Watch as well.

Not what I expected

The app lag a lot is not really telling me the battery percentage so I had to delete it and I pay for it so it was a waste of money
