No CarPlay
I like the app a lot and especially since it’s last redesign, so much so that I’ve transferred my under bonnet snooper from car to car and it’s now on its 4th. If only it integrated with car play it would be so much better.

Bought this so called speed camera detector and it’s really out dated. Had some average speed cameras in the area for some time now and they still are not showing on the app. Don’t buy this unit to pair with your device it’s a heap of junk. Use Waze or google maps.
Disappointing
The iRadar app is very unstable. It frequently freezes or completely switches off. The data exchange to warn of cameras/police/hazards between the app and the dash cam is intermittent and more often than not doesn’t work.The random switching off/dropping out of the app is irritating and very distracting while you are driving. If I hadn’t spent a lot of money on this dash cam I’d be buying an alternative replacement.

When working - great
My experience the app never works for only around 30 minutes. Then, for no obvious reason it shuts down. Happens every time
New Update July 2019
What on earth have you done. This update is a step backwards. I will be looking at alternative detectors now. Not good..
Do not buy this cobra product
I had my dash can installed three weeks ago it’s cost me £220 for dash cam and £140 installation and since I have updated the app now my app it not working and can even login anymore wast of money

Just update software and now the app on my phone will not work. It keeps showing error when logging in.

Since the update I can no longer log in tried changing password and deleting app and re installing nothing works
Pointless for dash cams
Bought a cobra because it was suggested by a friend. I completely regret it. I wanted a dash cam that I could connect to via an app and view my files without having to manually connect the dash cam to the computer. The app said it did all of this. Huge lie. I’ve now discovered that there’s no way to connect to your dash cam files via the iRadar app or anyway to play the back. Luckily, a trip back down to curry’s to swap it for a nextbase. Problem solved. In my opinion, Cobra is very misleading in what it actually supports.
