I have purchased a one year subscription of this app for my son through Apple. He was able to use it for a few months. Then one day he stopped being able to access it. We have 6 months left on a $100 subscription and can’t use the app. Don’t get this app if you want to use it for the full subscription. This is a colossal waste of money.

Something Went Wrong

Hello! I just LOVE codeSpark! It’s awesome! I would rate it 10 stars if I could! But something went wrong. And I meant someTHINGS. 1: One time I making an adventure game, and I was about to code a foo, then the game just froze. It didn’t even let me leave the project. The device itself had nothing to do with it. I had to close the app and that made me sad because my code on that project probably disappeared. 2: One time the same thing happened in story creation. I could move around and do stuff, but not code the foos. 3: This one happens almost all the time. Sometimes the game just freezes for a few seconds, then the app just kicks me out of it and restarts the app. (Note: Some of this happens because I own a total of, like, a million projects.) 4: Sometimes the game says an error happened at random times, like when I try to publish a project or when I try to create a new scene in a story or sometimes when when I try to load the game itself. 5: One time there was a new update that said new things are in the store, but when I went to the shop, there was nothing new. I checked a million times each day and nothing new comes up in the store. Sometimes, other errors happen. I hope you can fix them. Other from all that, the game is great and keep up with all the awesome updates! Thanks for reading!

Cutscenes

CapriMoonRise on

Riko Ultranado here, I really enjoy making movies and games on codeSpark. The games are also challenging and fun. I have learned a lot in the 2 years I've used codeSpark. One suggestion, it would be cool to be able to add cutscenes, allowing you to warp the player into story, and back into adventure! So like: Cutscene Code= Go to story, code code code... Back to Game code... Teleport to game... and yeah. Complicated, but do you know what I mean? So how you transition your story to a game... can we kid coders do that too? Thank you for making a great app.

Sign up problems

It made me sign up. It’s horrible. I know I know, though every single game or education game makes you sign up but this one it’s just so confusing you don’t have to be a teacher or a student. You can be a kid or a parent, but this game just doesn’t let you, but when I did get in, it was fun
