The dictionary itself is excellent. 

The the app it’s wrapped in is bug ridden and 2nd rate. Shockingly poor, given what a simple task this involves in programming terms. Here are some example bugs. 

There’s no way to get back to the main menus. 

Dark mode comes on randomly, and often only on parts of the page. When dark mode is working, it puts dark text on a dark background so you can’t read the text. Really. 

The search bar functions incredibly badly, and you regularly have to restart the app to refresh it. 

If you can get another Spanish dictionary, do.

I’m baffled by the reviews of this app. It has awful design compared to almost any other app. If you look up a verb and click on conjugations you cannot go back to the normal dictionary, so you have to quit the app and restart it.

There are many, many words you can not find.
In an otherwise very useful App,
which I use daily, I do not understand why they leave out 
words. OK , authors of novels often show off their vocabulary, using less common terms but surely an electronic dictionary is not under pressure of space ( unlike a pocket dictionary)?

This app has a serious problem if you add a lot of favorites/stars. It refuses to launch, freezes, crashes out every time. I have just lost all my favorites because I had to delete the app and reinstall just to get it working again. These days a favorites system is basic functionality that should be implemented without destroying the usability of the app. At this price it's inexcusable.

There's a glitch with this latest update, which causes my app to load to a side-menu each time I start it, instead of the main dictionary. Tedious. BUT, these Collins dictionary apps really are incredible. So many functions accessible in an instant (such as every conceivable verb conjugation), so it's a lifesaver when you need immediate help in a foreign language.

This is one of those instances where Smartphone + Useful app really makes a huge difference to your lives. My vocabulary has gone leaps and bounds with this app on my side. 

It's a pretty powerful learning experience when you can look up a new word in seconds. It took me a while to discover there's conjugations for every verbs in the dictionary, which is another awesome feature. 

Some one complained about not having sounds in the product. Spanish is fairy easy to pronounce compared to other languages, & to incoporate sounds would make this app massive. And it's not too difficult to go on the internet and look for sounds for that odd word that might be difficult to pronounce.

All in all, a great app and one that I find essential & paid for itself over in the first hour.

I use this all the time, the example usage is especially useful. I don't understand the other reviewer that said there are words missing. I haven't found this to be the case, it even contains slang and swearwords and tells you which part of the Spanish speaking world it applies to.
