Color My Life

A great idea and I got excited scanning barcodes but only about a third of my barcodes were recognised. It was a surprising that some big name brands were not in the system. I could understand the smaller boutique brands not being recognised, but the big ones? I acknowledge that it would be a massive undertaking to collect this data but it would make the app vastly more appealing and, I daresay would generate more revenue. I was tempted to subscribe at first but possibly not now, sadly.

I’d been looking for a way to catalogue and keep track of my card making purchases and had heard talk of this app in crafting groups so decided to give it a go. I now can’t live without it! It stops me from buying double-ups, I can scroll through my stamp sets super fast, search by keyword and even use the app to plan out projects. It is phenomenal and while I have a rule about not paying for apps, this is my one exception - it is THAT good!

I am loving this app and all that it offers so far. It is a cinch to use and I am gradually working through my supplies. I love that everything once enters looks so organized, it is easy to add images of items from the web, it picks up duplication and creates sets, wish lists, colour families and project ideas. The developers are always working really hard at adding amazing new features that speed up the process even more and also make the app even more essential to have. Any glitches that have occurred are also constantly fixed. Can’t wait to see how it evolves over time!

The app just keeps getting better and better! More companies continue to join where you can scan barcodes and all the info appears! I’ve saved so much money by not buying duplicates! I also love that she sells little stickers so I know what items I’ve inventoried as I work through my entire stash!

I love this app! It is great for storing and organizing your items and projects. Photos are not user friendly at first, but I figured it out, and they are easy now. Adding a Project, is a great feature! I had trouble figuring that out, but I have it now, and what a terrific feature! I do like the inventory PDF option. Very useful. I originally had 4 stars because I had issues with the project, but I figured it out and it is fantastic!

This is definitely my second most useful tool for paper crafting. I really wish I would of found out about it years ago! You need more advertising. 😀 cataloguing items will take a bit of time for someone with items going back 20 years! But will be so worth it for so many reasons. Ease of finding items. Knowing what you have in stock or may ran out of stock. Inspiration! God forbid but if you had a disaster insurance companies want descriptions and price catalogued. I’m so grateful to companies that have kept their sku’s updated and will be dropping a note to those that have and have not. The wish list having a sku photo and inspiration should be a selling point to those companies. I’m cataloguing now by using my past orders and finding projects I want to do with items I forgot I bought!! Once everything is in my app I will likely hire a teenager to tag every item. I’m getting older and slower and will love searching a word and seeing all my options! You may already be doing this but I would definitely get a booth at these paper crafting festivals. So easy to use So affordable and so helpful!

I was an Evernote user until the fee took a big hop recently, so started the hunt for an app that is specific to paper crafters. What a treasure I found in Color My Life! The developers are paper crafters themselves so much thought was put into this app on what is needed. I went from their trial issue right into the Pro Plan within about 3 days of using it. Easy to use! Thanks, CML for this great app. And there is a web version too!

I’ve been using this app for several years and am still pleased with the performance. It allows me to keep my own catalog of my crafting supplies inventory. I no longer buy duplicates of something I already own. My favorite feature is the tags section as it’s currently completely customizable. It’s very inexpensive for all the features.

Wasn’t sure how to send an error that is happening: when searching, I’m getting repeated error messages that the request was explicitly denied or blocked.

I have cataloged my entire stash. Now when I am looking for a “friendship” sentiment, I can search for that tag and see all of my stamp sets and the corresponding friendship sentiments! What a time saver! I can also add multiple pictures to an item. So I can save a picture of projects I have made with the items I used. I can also save pictures from card inspiration I find online for specific stamp sets. The search tool is very powerful and I can narrow my huge stash down very quickly to find what I need. Thank you so much for this amazing tool!!!
