Just needs an update to show text under posts.
The content simply wouldn’t load, after a few cards.
But there’s a few niggles. Would love to see a fix for text not showing under some posts. I often have no context for some posts because paragraphs of text are missing and only the image is shown. That means having to open safari, do the Reddit official app dance back and forth, reload the post, click back etc. and that’s just the ones I’ve worked out there’s missing text. Who knows how many do that I’ve missed completely. Some smoother actions for comments would be good. Clicking a post reply only responds. Clicking context just shows you the reply again. Editing or deleting comments is really hidden away. Apart from that, I use it every day and it’s great. If those little things were fixed, it would be perfect.
As in... they never work.
This is a really nice way to view Reddit, I like it. Minimalist design, and it loads way quicker than actual Reddit website.
The look is nice, and controls are easy to use, but it loses my scrolled place immediately when the app is minimised, which makes it unusable for me.
Even after you have read the notifications, it still tells you there are new notifications. Check, and there are none. Quite frustrating as the rest of the app is good
Well designed and smoothly working app, I tried most other Reddit apps, but this one seems the best for large screens.
I feel like I’ve tried nearly every Reddit app in the store by now and every other one has a fatal flaw. It’s usually that it either looks great and runs like a dog, or looks like a dog and runs great. This is the first reddit client I have found that looks great, super clean and simple, and performs great. I can’t fault it. Keep up the amazing work.
On the surface this is a great looking (sort of) design compliant app. There are a few places like the subscriptions tab where space could be used more effectively, also maybe some line dividers would be nice just so the list looks less empty. I’ve been using it for about an hour or so now and for some reason there’s no audio in the app across any of the content. Finally, there are a tonne of power user features that I thought were absent until I found it in the corner of the profile page, that should be much more visible, maybe condense the profile information into the accounts page and move the app settings into the list below “hidden” posts. I like the app but it definitely needs refinement.
