Compress Photos & Pictures

Nach einigen Tests war diese App - neben Foto Komprimierung Plus - für mich die beste Wahl, auch wenn ein paar Dinge nerven. Aber Ergebnis und Lifetime-Kauf ohne Abo mit Familienfreigabe haben überzeugt Mein Plan war ca. 6.000 Screenshots vom iPhone in der Dateigröße drastisch zu reduzieren. 100 Screenshots haben im Schnitt 400 MB belegt und nach der Kompression dann unter 20 MB. Diese App kann bis zu 100 Bilder auf einmal komprimieren. Leider muss man die Fotos einzeln auswählen und kann maximal alle auf dem Display sichtbaren Thumbnails mit einem Wisch markieren, es wird aber nicht wie bei Apple Fotos automatisch weiter gescrollt… nach 50 Dateien kommt ein Warnhinweis und nach 100 ist dann Schluss. Danach wird komprimiert und auf Wunsch das Original gelöscht. Man kann keine genauen Größenangaben eingeben, sondern gibt %-Werte an, also für einheitliche Reduzierung der Auflösung für eine Bildergalerie-Upload eher ungeeignet. Zum Sparen von Speicherplatz aber perfekt. Verbesserungsvorschläge: - automatisch 100 Fotos auswählen aus einem Album - den Warnhinweis bei 50 Dateien deaktivierbar machen, damit man ihn nur 1x sieht - bei der Bildauswahl scrollen ermöglichen, während man selektiert - weniger Tracking Mein Workflow: 1. Alle zu reduzierenden Bilder in der Apple Fotos App in ein Album gepackt 2. 100 Fotos in der App ausgewählt 3. Komprimiert 4. Originale automatisch löschen lassen 5. Die verkleinerten Screenshots aus dem automatisch erstellten Album „compressed“ weiterverteilt… 6. In der Apple Fotos App den Ordner „Gelöschte“ endgültig geleert, um den Speicherplatz freizugeben So wurde dann mein Album mit den Original-Dateien immer leerer und vermied gleichzeitig Duplikate ACHTUNG: Exif-Daten werden gelöscht, GPS und Aufnahmedatum bleibt aber erhalten und Screenshots werden auch weiterhin als solche erkannt am iPhone

Not worth paying to access the full version: it barely comprises three photos before freezing/crashing and needing to be restarted

Ich verstehe nicht wie es so schwer sein kann die App so zu gestalten das man das ganze Album wählen kann. Ich habe 9.99€ bezahlt und muss meine 8000 Fotos einzeln wählen?

An app that does what it says it will. Very straightforward and easy to use. It clearly sorts the images into old and new photos.

I need to send photos for work. I need to reduce size to meet Gmail limitations. When using the app advertisements still pop up.

dec2024. work around: I cannot use “all photos” because of mention earlier. but l now use select photos which seem to work. still no fix of this annoying bug since over a month. nov25: major weird bug: compresses total different photos with same name but years older. all my new photos names eg IMG_0244 exist already. so IMG_0244-compressed is a totally diff photo. how is a file identified? why double names that cannot be changed? No memory warning. memory and space kinda full tho. 2.and yes, the file size was always different from what the iphone says. most of my photos are “cropped screenshots”. each app shows different sizes. sept8 :bug: lost caption after entering it after compressing 2photos at once.(no field to enter again) ——first test show that some cropped screenshots get compressed but original screen size photo. most of my screenshots are cropped, and I have to crop them again after compression. I got a “memory warning”,tho. then I simply close all apps from memory. the date is newer making the file show up at way different place than orig. and I need to change date of a file that I might have let deleted. complicated. Its always unclear if it gets fullrender compressed. Often I dont want it compressed but simply a smaller file bec. an apple-cropped picture is often still stored as the original and I just want to erase the cropped-away part. apple shows diff. filesizes. some ads now are in full chinese, you have tapwithout knowing what it says to continue.mar6,2024 ok, I paid the $10. now its still hard to find the compressed picsin photo app to see the changes. have to scroll thru 5000photos each time. the sorting is different. what makes it harder too is that it doesnot show the full pic, and only little, esp. with similar photos. apr5,2024 seems he doesnot understand what I mean. there are no compressed photos before I let it compress. which ones should I compress before I kniw which ones?

After going through all the ads and finding the way to compress my picture, I can’t find it in my pictures part of my iPhone 14. It doesn’t show up. Disappointed!

you cannot use fee version at b/c of stupid full page ads that you cannot get out of! not even X button!

Why is there difference in size of some images in the iPhone photos app and that on the Compress app before you compress? If say an image I want to compress shows 12mb on my iPhone photos app, it would show 3mb on the Compress app. It, as such, deceives and in effect doesn’t help in selecting the right images you’d want to compress. I feel this is very poor on the part of the Compress app. Other apps I checked shows the exact size as that on the iPhone for the same image. Also, if you happen to select 100 images but one of images got deleted from the iPhone photos app before you hit compress, the whole process doesn’t complete because of that one deleted image. Why wouldn’t you allow the 99 pictures to compress successfully instead of having us go through the trouble of going back to look for that one picture to delete? Update: Now, after compressing the app gives feedback that it cannot compress so adjustments has to be made to the photo quality and dimension. Waste of money and time. I strongly DO NOT recommend
