Seems to work well. I just have to hunt down the photos they go back to photo right next to the same photo. But it is worth it unless you have to do a whole bunch.

Too many ads cluttering things up and trying to fool you into clicking the wrong stuff.
I've been using the free (ad) version for the past half a year. Finallly decided to purchase the one-time Pro version, worth every penny. The ads are very annoying but the compressing itself is fast and I'm appreciative that the date and time of the photo is preserved after compression. Also, Pro lets you compress 100 photos at a time (not more due to performance issues)! More than worth it for me. This app runs smoothly on my iPhone 13 Pro, so I wouldn't know if performance is worse on other devices. I've never had this app close suddenly on me though, even after compressing 1000+ photos back to back... Overall I'm a happy customer!
The functions of the app work well, but be prepared to waste a lot of your time watching ads. After every action you perform on the app, you’ll be rewarded with yet another ad to watch!
The ads are over the top, making the app difficult to use for just a few photos. In the end, I might buy pro, if thr compression is satisfactory. That was my plan to begin with, but the ad presentations are obnoxious and will likely neve result in a better than average rating.
first test show that some cropped screenshots get compressed but original screen size photo. most of my screenshots are cropped, and I have to crop them again after compression. I got a “memory warning”,tho. then I simply close all apps from memory. the date is newer making the file show up at way different place than orig. and I need to change date of a file that I might have let deleted. complicated. Its always unclear if it gets fullrender compressed. Often I dont want it compressed but simply a smaller file bec. an apple-cropped picture is often still stored as the original and I just want to erase the cropped-away part. apple shows diff. filesizes. some ads now are in full chinese, you have tapwithout knowing what it says to continue.mar6,2024 ok, I paid the $10. now its still hard to find the compressed picsin photo app to see the changes. have to scroll thru 5000photos each time. the sorting is different. what makes it harder too is that it doesnot show the full pic, and only little, esp. with similar photos. apr5,2024 seems he doesnot understand what I mean. there are no compressed photos before I let it compress. which ones should I compress before I kniw which ones?
It would be nice if the app showed the pixel dimensions of what the photos will be after compression, rather than just a percentage slider.
Aggressive aggravating adds
Save space and keep your pictures still
I’m not paying premium to do what the basic things the app said it could do.
