Awaiting my first print issue and their intro e-mail was well laid out as to getting me on-line and reading digitally immediately. Also like the daily e-mails on what I assume are short articles that didn’t make the magazine. Don’t confuse with the other app. This is the US version. The other is UK.
I am a subscriber to the magazine. I am supposed to have free access to the digital copy. After downloading the app and registering, I found the only part of the app that worked was the "buy a subscription" or "buy an issue". Therefore, there is no free access to anything. The "tech support" is by email question only. I am using an iPad 2 and I have the most recent software. T Don't buy the paper subscription with any expectation of getting the digital version free.
Very glad to see CN Traveler finally has an app for their magazine. It's a lovely feature for subscribers and one I've come to expect after the successful launch of others such as GQ. The details and clarity are wonderful and my only complaint is that it doesn't yet have landscape functionality, only portrait. Also, so far only the Hot List is available, but they note that soon monthly issues will be available on the app. I look forward to it!
