Cone: The Designer's Premium Color Tool

Designed by a designer, for designers, Cone sets a new standard on the App Store. It's not just an app; it's a beautifully designed experience, offering an intuitive and precise color exploration tool. As the only App Store offering licensed by Pantone, Cone ensures you always have access to the most updated Pantone shades.

Top Features:

1. Pantone Matching: Snap any color, and Cone seamlessly matches it to the closest Pantone shades (Coated and Uncoated). With up to 10 Pantone recommendations, ranked by matching precision, never second guess your color choices again.

2. Real-time Color Identification: Open the app and watch it work instantly. It identifies colors on the go, displaying the name and hex code (can be changed to RGB, CMYK, or HSL).

3. Extended Color Codes: Dive deeper into the color spectrum with extended codes. From RGB and Hex to CMYK, HSL, LAB, HSV, and XYZ, Cone offers a spectrum of possibilities.

4. Color Harmonies: Uncover the relationships between colors. Discover complementary, analogous, and more harmony patterns, enhancing your design process.

5. Personal Color Library: Capture and store colors that inspire you. Whether cataloging real-world inspirations or manually adding via hex codes, your library reflects your design journey.

6. Gallery Color Picking: Tap into your gallery and extract colors from photos.

7. Bucket Organization & Exports: Organize your colors into buckets and export them as beautifully laid-out palettes.

8. Manual Color Accuracy: Adjust colors in challenging light conditions. Combined with the built-in torch mode, Cone ensures accuracy even in tricky environments.

9. Freeze Frame: Are the colors on move? Instantly freeze the frame and pick colors in your own time.

10. Colorblind Mode: This mode toggles the color names in the live preview to show simplified names like Blue, Green, Red, etc instead of names like Brandy Rose to make it easy for Colorblind people to identify colors.

11. Quick Code Copy: Copy color codes with a single tap and bring them into other design tools.

With Cone, you're equipped with a comprehensive toolkit tailored for designers who seek perfection.

Downloaded trial how do I nuke it before I get charged?

Scotty biker on

Easy to sign up for trials. Go to settings it says!

I don’t like how all these apps need you to pay

Beef God from Gang Beasts on

I’m just tryna identify some color type and not trying to pay any money

Purchased but unintuitive

Stuke on

Moving swatches from one bucket to another is not easy. Deleting is also not just a swipe. 1. How do I set a bucket and have all samples land in that bucket? 2. How do I move a samples color from (apparently the default) All Colors to a specific bucket? Time to modernize gestures to match 2022 mobile software UX.

Awesome app, would like a couple more details on color readouts.

I love this app so far, it’s really awesome to be able to compare colors and mix CMYK and RGB builds to help with color matching. A couple of things that would be an awesome inclusion would be searching/adding colors based on PMS reference numbers, also an LAB value for scanned colors.

Option to choose color space

tonychenxy on

Right now in color picker only hex code is shown in real time. I was wondering if it could be added as a feature that we could choose which color space to show in real time view. Being able to see HSB code is really useful for me but only available when I click in library. Thanks!

So close

Cynniminni on

With pantone charging a subscription to pick colors, I suddenly need a solution for color picking the closest Pantone color asap. I have rgb / cmyk images I need to convert to Pantone but there doesn't seem to be anything that gives the same accuracy, or doesn't even let me select the Pantone color profile I need. Would it be possible for you to add the option for Pantone Solid Coated colors?

Adding colors to a bucket is broken

JoshMulliken on

I am trying to collect colors that I like into a bucket for my upcoming wedding but when I long press and try to select my wedding bucket it slides right off the side of my screen. I have also experienced crashes while trying to exit the color selection screen

Cried with satisfaction

I’m sure anyone who is color blind has been asked a dozen stupid questions by those who’s cones are intact. This app saves me from having to ask random strangers what color something is. It’s saves me from telling people that my favorite shirt is blue when it’s actually purple. We all see the world differently and that’s what makes it beautiful but this app gives me the ability to know what other people take for granted.

Good so far, but...

This app is amazing but the user interface is not intuitive. I have no idea how to move scanned colors into a folder, and the suggestion to "just tap on a

I’ve been trying to figure out a Pantone equivalent for a teal green-colored jacket but it keeps giving me sky blue which isn’t even close.
