Great app for conjugation practice
I’ve been using Conjugato daily for over a month (minus a couple days) and it’s great. It’s a very straightforward and smooth experience to practice my verb conjugations using it. I especially like the auto-pronounce answers feature, which gives me more experience hearing these words. I’ve only noticed one word that the iOS text-to-speech pronounces improperly (“oyó” which it spells out).
In the past I’ve used Anki or the like (and also physical index cards) to do conjugation flash cards and there I had the problem of it being a lot of work to add all the irregular verbs, as well as getting really bogged down in a huge review workload if I added things too quickly or missed a few days. A dedicated app that lets me go at my own pace but still working on the basis of spaced repetition has been great for avoiding those problem and saving the effort of creating the cards. Plus the ability to customize which verbs (by how frequently-used they are) and which tenses to study.
It would be even better if it had support for the “vos” conjugations, but that’d probably be a pretty difficult addition with the huge amount of variation in how different countries use “vos” (or even differences in written and spoken usage in the same place).
All in all, great app. Great as a free app and very much worth the cost of the Pro upgrade.
