Seriously it's beautiful. And I'm finding it enormously useful. I'd give it six stars if I could :-) If anyone reading this is a Duolingo user and frustrated that you're missing fundamentals of how verbs change, then Google conjugation tables and see what the rules are, just so you have context, then jump right into here and start practicing. You can literally pick three favourite verbs (an ar, ir, and an er one) to practice, or crunch on ir/ser/estar like I have, or easily enable the verbs you've seen and just practice those until you're comfortable with them (I love Duolingo, a lot, but it has weaknesses). Check out the settings - turn off irregular verbs to learn the rules, turn them back on and turn off *regular* ones instead to learn the corner cases. Turn on answering-by-typing to test yourself. Turn off the translation to focus on the verb and see if you remember, or instead show the translation with no infinitive to practice as you'd like to speak, and in either case the app shows you both after you answer for confirmation so you learn even faster. I started by saying the app design was good and I meant it. I love when something is done well, and this app is done well.
I don’t normally write reviews for apps, but this app is fantastic! A very user-friendly way to learn verbs at a glance by using the list that can be sorted by frequency. I find this quicker and easier than tapping through flash card decks because you can cover one side with your hand. When you tap on each word you can see every conjugation needed, with the irregular verb conjugations highlighted. You get around ~250 verbs + conjugations for free - which is plenty to start off with, and once you progress in the language and like the app you can go pro. Aside from the verb list (which I use the most), there is also a rhyme section, and a section for conjugation drills. I don’t really use the rhyme section so I won’t speak on that, but the conjugation drills are fantastic! On the free version you can only drill present and preterite though. The cost of the pro is worth it because you pay once instead of being stuck in a subscription. Highly recommend! I do wish that there was a list of nouns/adjectives/etc and also a way to drill the verbs, but the app is still great without that!
I just like tapping through verbs and learning their meaning in English. I would like the same for nouns please. I would buy.
Very useful app! But can the developer make ‘practice’ and ‘rhymes’ parts have ‘go back’ and ‘save’ function? I want to review the practice I’ve done. Thanks!
