Simply point your device towards the sky and this application will display the names of the stars, constellations and planets.
You can check the orbital position of the planet in the solar system on a separate screen.
You can also display stars below the horizon.

You can display the names of about 100 bright stars, constellations, ecliptic, celestial equator, Deep Sky Objects, ISS, Celestial pole, and so on.

You can enlarge or reduce the display by spreading or narrowing (pinch operation) with two fingers.
Toggle display / non-display of constellation line, name etc. with double touch.

Does not update on opening. Stars not shown accurate position. Is not working.

Love this app - my favorite star map for star hopping

Wonderful app! I use it with my 8” dob to star hop for DSO’s. I wish it could calibrate to align with stars so your could strap it directly to a scope and make it an instant go to rig. No complaints though! Give it a go - you will love it too.

Exactly what I needed

This sky map shows Messier, NGC and constellations and let’s me freeze a time later in the night so I can plan my imaging session. Perfect, simple excellent!

It was better before you added the sliders at bottom of screen

Good App, but doesn’t line up

I like the app, but is always off 15-25 degrees left or right. I’m not sure how to calibrate it so it lines up correctly with the actual stars.

no calibration?

I’m liking the app quite a bit in general, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to calibrate it to the actual sky. The sun always appears a few hours ahead of where it really is.
