Wieso wird die Bearbeitung der Kontaktliste nicht auf Benutzerfreundlichkeit überarbeitet. Hab für das löschen von 2800 kontakten mehr als 8 std. via Handy gebraucht. Ein slide funktion / mehrfach auswahl, wäre hier angebracht #flop 👎🏻

With no updates or iterations for this app for so long, Contacts by Apple is long overdue for an overhaul. Why isn’t it possible, when you set a ringtone for a contact to sync that ringtone across devices (iPad, Mac, CarPlay, etc). Additionally, it would be nice to set a ringtone for groups. Imagine if you could discern business calls from private calls as soon as you devices ring? Another functionality I am dearly missing is a great way to share contact information. To date, if you want to share a contact’s information, you can only do so by sharing their entire contact card, including birthdays and all the other private data/notes you collected. When sharing, one should get the freedom to opt in or out all the data one would want to share, beginning with the contact’s picture down to the notes. (Business would only require phone number and eMail for example) Final remarks: - Offer QR codes for own digital (contact/business card) - share contacts by NFC - give colors/picture to groups for display recognition when someone calls - when filling out a new contact form, give a line to put it right then and there into a group - give social media buttons to visit people on their sites.

Changing the default to Google Contacts did not solved it.

Bis heute kann man in der Kontakte-App am iPhone und am iPad keine Gruppen anlegen oder Kontakte einer vorhandenen Gruppe zuordnen. Sehr schwach! Das geht nur am Mac oder mit Drittanbieter-Apps

Worst app to try to organize contact photos. Nobody wants posters. Please just allow me to add an image in the circle. Right now, I updated outlook which syncs to apple contacts, looks great. Unfortunately I can’t do this directly on my phone. Stop making software for kids and focus on grown ups.

This app can only find duplicates some of the time. I synced contacts to iCloud and it started creating all these duplicates-thousands. Then when I try to use the duplicate merging tool it’s nowhere to be found. Fix this and you’ll get more stars.

Recently switched from Android to iOS and I regret with my decision. I was trying to sync up contacts with my google accounts but don’t know when it will sync and how. In android it does automatic and also user has choice to sync on demand. iOS contact has link to documentation about accounts and sync which seems to be outdated. I don’t find the navigation path mentioned for default account selection for contacts sync.
