I have been using this app since its start. It is my go to recipe keeper. Easy to use, easy to customize. Absolutely worth every penny.
It’s so easy to import recipes, you can search what you’d like to have for that night as well as plan your week ahead!!
I cannot say enough good things about this app. I tried so, so many different food / recipe apps before finding Cookbook but the search stops here. THE. BEST. It’s so easy to import recipes from the internet, scan off a page, or input manually. You can add multiple photos, add notes, and tag so they can be easily found. I love the meal planning feature. I use it frequently so I can plan to use up leftovers or things in my fridge/pantry. I’ve recommended this app to literally everyone. A few things I wish it had that would make it essentially flawless for me: Add the ability to use categories AND tags for master-level organization. Integrate the shopping list with Alexa. Update the app more frequently. Still, it’s worth every penny.
I cannot praise this app enough! Everything you wished for re your recipes and organizing, using them, notations, is here. You can import from anywhere! If you can take a photo or screen shot it or scan it, you can put it in cookbook. You can import from websites with a click- awesome! We have 4 huge binders on our counter of saved recipes. Slowly but surely they are moving into the cookbook app, where they are so easy to find. And the precious clipping from the newspaper of 25 years ago can go in the trash while you save a photo of it’s yellowed paper and personal notes. And when the ocr misreads an ingredient amount, you have the original copy photographed, so you can find the correct amount and edit the cookbook copy. Thank you, cookbook developers 😋
This is a excellent app. My grandchildren can follow the instructions and ingredients I am very happy with it.
No having to keep a book propped open or digging for cards, this keeps everything handy and is easy to back up to make sure a recipe never escapes you again. Meal planning is also so so so much easier.
I never pay for apps and I never leave reviews but this app is so worth it. The ability to add recipes in so many ways gives it the ultimate utility. I use it for all my meal planning and the shopping list feature is great. I really appreciate when I import a recipe from online the link stays with the recipe so I can easily go back and reference the original if I need to or get more recipes from the same site. Also the kitchen timer is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend.
I cannot do without Cookbook! 4 days a week Icook from home and 3 days a week from our ‘Rather Be’ 2nd home by the water. I have Cookbook on all my devices so I am never without it. I just wish they they would come up with a customizable family printable cookbook template! Bruce
I have been using this app for about a year. I like that I can categorize recipes to suit me. However, I am confused in that I remember an option of ‘lifetime’ but now I see that I will soon be charged for ‘yearly’.
