A Diamond in the rough

I left Pinterest and was searching for an alternative. This is about as close as you can get to something similar and the UI is lovely, but it is limited. I have a hard time finding what I’m looking for and it needs the option to create Sub-boards . I will keep an eye on it though, cause Pinterest is awful now .

I wouldn’t get it, lol.

Disappointed! Please don’t on

So I saw an add on Instagram and thought why not compare this to Pinterest since that’s what everyone else is doing and supposedly it’s better? I was wrong. I downloaded the app and started by searching simple things. Like “NFL.” It came up with almost absolutely nothing related to that. I then searched up “Steelers.” Which is an NFL team. It came up with a few things, but nothing like Pinterest would’ve given me. Not to mention other things that were popping up that I wouldn’t want to see again. While I was searching things like the NFL, Top Gun (The movie) and even NASCAR, it kept giving me pictures of (Almost) completely naked women. Which is completely disgusting, never in my years of using Pinterest have I ever seen something like that, and I’d love to know how that’s okay? Yes, I know this app is rated 17+, but if you’re going to make an app that wants to grab the interest of people using Pinterest, make it family friendly at least. When you search something 9 times out of 10 it shows you things not even slightly related to your search and shows you a bunch of random pictures. The only thing that worked for me was when I typed in “Horror aesthetic.” So I believe this app is mainly for aesthetics and getting the certain color that you want. (As they’ve clearly demonstrated in all their adds.) All in all, I don’t see myself using this app much, and ARE NOT impressed.

Dishonest, disappointing

How long did it take for them to throw their “no ads” messaging out the window? Did they even last a full year? I had the app for a month before I received an email titled “new: shop on cosmos”. Pathetic. Waste of your time- stay on Pinterest where there’s more creators and just as many advertisements.

Love this in chrome and iphone, but the iPad 2 columns issue really needs to be fixed.

Are bugs chic?

Love the idea but the app performance is subpar. Makes my entire phone freeze, long loading times, and sometimes I’ll click on an image, but it will randomly pop back to the previous page before I can save it. Manifesting the bugs are squashed soon.

Great alternative to Pinterest

This is a great app and website. I absolutely would recommend. But the app crashes a lot for some odd reason.

Love it!

I was getting very frustrated with Pinterest and its million adds and unnecessary censorship - and I’m a image hoarder so Cosmos is the perfect place to store them in and curate my collections in! It’s still relatively new but I’m hoping that the suggestions under an image will improve over time! Also I’m wondering if you guys will add a feature to make sub-sections (collections?) under a collection like Pinterest in a future update? Anyways, loving the app so far - I know it’s going to be my new go-to!

i really want to like it

i’m trying to switch from pinterest to this app, but it’s incredibly laggy and nearly unusable at times. i also wish i could create sections within clusters like how i can make sections within boards on pinterest. i really want to like this app and i believe it has potential, but it’s hard when it’s super laggy and has limited features.

App is great, but when using tinted widgets, the images don’t show.
