Coursicle

This app helped me get all the classes i wanted! You just have to constantly be on the lookout with your phone and wait for the notification that the classes opened up. Life saver.

The only reason I and many others downloaded it this app is for it to function as an app tracker and the new update completely downgraded that experience. I can’t see from a glance if classes are open or not. Multiple classes at the same time, too bad, you can’t read the class names now. The schedule system makes it more confusing and less focused as a “tracker”. I usually add multiple courses knowing I will remove them later so why does it make sense to add them into my class schedule. Make the class schedule its own separate thing and bring back the classic app tracker UI!

Coursicle is like the only app of its kind so I recommend downloading it. I have it to set notifications for spots opening in classes but I’m at a large school with a ton of sections. You NEED to have “course tracking” on to see when seats open which requires premium. I didn’t even know this when I first downloaded it. Then it treats the sections you add as your “schedule” and squeezes the blocks to fit in these times. You have to click on the sections on the schedule to enable course tracking and if you added a ton of sections to click, it just squeezes them into blocks with no way to zoom in. Therefore if you add more than 3 sections of each class the buttons themselves are incredibly small. You have to make it a 1-day view at a time in order to even be able to click anything to enable the course tracking. It took so long for me to figure it out and then it took so long to enable course tracking itself by clicking the incredibly small course bubbles. It took me hours to get the hang of it and then when I realized I forgot to add sections of one of the classes it was so frustrating to click the incredibly tiny little class bubbles that I decided to try my laptop (I was on my iPad). But you NEED the app in order to enable course tracking. I gave up and just deleted my schedule and wanted to start over. But even when I had NOTHING on my schedule I still had 7 “notifications” with no way to clear them. Since I want that red bubble to signify that I actually have a new open seat or something, I had to delete and redownload the app for it to go away. Then I was able to start over.

I would’ve died in chem with a horrible professor. By using the class tracking, I was able to know when a seat opened up immediately and get into the chem I wanted! It’s also sooo helpful to visualize my schedule!

This app has gotten me out of many sticky class situations. It’s unique in the fact that it actually tracks the status of classes and times that you really really want to get into, and I’ve gotten the best schedules because of it! Since becoming a beta tester I was also able to get access to the new format, which made it all the more better. Premium is so worth it if you want to get all the best class times!

Overall Coursicle is a decent app, but I fairly frustrated that the app does not allow any modification of a current semester’s classes after Add-Drop or some other point. I cannot add another class to my schedule this semester because when I search classes, only classes for next semester are visible.

This is terrible. I can’t even find the spring semester to add to my schedule or track

This app was life-saving and worked wonderful until this semester. Everything just remains in processing status now & doesn’t update.

Whoever approved this update should find another job. I used to love this app and recommend it to everyone I knew. Now, the only purpose I used it for (tracking classes that were full), is absolutely impossible to do. They focused so much on making “the biggest update in 9 years” and trashed the whole app in the process. Not only is it ridiculously difficult to navigate, the information isn’t even correct. It shows every class as open, when they are clearly not. Coursicle is now wasted space on my phone and a waste of my money.

Seriously went from the best way to plan your next semester to the worst calendar app you’ve ever seen. Whatever idiot thought this was a good idea should be fired.
