Life And Sanity Saver!!

The college I’m attending had me wait until I met with an advisor before signing up for my first classes. Lo and behold, the classes got filled up by the time I met with them, which infuriated me. I don’t remember how, but by some luck I stumbled on this app right after this occurred. I saw the app reviews on here saying it had a feature where you can track class openings, and get notified. And let me tell you, it was the BEST $7 ever spent. I got the classes I wanted the same minute a slot opened up. I didn’t have to worry about refreshing the class page a thousand times. For fun, I also tested what the notification delay is like by signing up for a class and dropping right out to see how long it took me to be notified. It’s always been about 45-60 seconds, which is more than enough time to have an advantage over others. Don’t listen to those whining about paying $7 every 4 months. That’s more than fair to get a leg up on other students.

Not worth it

I got this app so I could be notified when spots open up in some classes I wanted. This app didn’t notify me once even though spots were open in classes that I was tracking. Also you can only track one class before you have to pay. I got notifications when a new class was created but these classes had been created many hours before I even got a notification. This defeats the whole purpose of using this app to help you snag a spot in desired class because it’s so late to send out anything. 👎👎👎

Stuck on “Processing”

It’s an old abandoned app that doesn’t work for tracking full classes anymore. Just says “processing”. Maybe the company got bought out.

It works!!!!

Read the fine print -it’s not set up for summer classes. This has saved my son so many times. The premium is definitely worth it. You get an alert on your phone when the class opens and you have to hurry to get on and get registered to be other Coursicle app users. Its great. A life saver. I also like to put my courses on the schedule and then screenshot it to have a good weekly picture of my courses.

Great app

honestly a super useful app when registering for courses; last semester I really wanted to get into a specific seminar and used coursicle to help me track the availability...sure enough someone did end up dropping and I snagged the spot in time. Turned out to be one of the best classes and professors I ever had so major thanks. However I noticed with the new display update when you pull up a class to see its details sometimes the display will be improperly zoomed in so most of the details would be cut off (looks like borders of the display weren’t sized right). not a huge problem for me since I mainly use the app to track class capacity. overall great app :) edit: developer responded and fixed display issue! btw premium is worth it if you REALLY want a class!

Doesn’t work anymore

Used this my first semester and it was great got me into the classes I needed, but when I went and PAID for it again this year the classes have just been processing for two months and the support team doesn’t answer and doesn’t do refunds. Horrible scam.

Doesn’t Offer summer Courses

I wish this feature was already implemented because it leaves out a broad range of students who take summer courses. Without summer classes its just a roll of the dice to try to get in once the waitlist is closed :(

Sending unsolicited text messages

Okay so it’s April 23, 2024. I’m a second year student and I wanted this one class so I don’t have to take this Friday 4pm class instead. I thought this was a joke but I got a notification and GOT MY LAPTOP AND BOOM . It wasn’t Kap . This app saved me the dreadful Friday 4pm experience that I know I would hate with a passion. If you want a specific class to fit in your schedule. Trust this app. I promise you, it’ll help

did not notify me

I signed up for premium to track classes for TAMU and I did not get one notification, even if the classes had seats that opened up.
